Does a shot at pitching yourself as a job candidate on television guarantee you'll get a job? Not necessarily. However, for many of the job seekers Kyra has interviewed as part of our 30 Second Pitch the experience has lead to contacts, encouragment and, yes, a few emails they wish the spam filters had trashed. We started airing the pitches a little over 6 weeks ago. Since then, a couple of the folks have found jobs; many of them are still on the journey. Enjoy the pitches and the updates on where they are now.
Marleen Graham was one of our pitchers we found at a job fair here in the Atlanta area. She is not letting unemployment keep her from contributing to the community. While she is searching she is volunteering at three different charities and she's blogging about her search in an effort to encourage others. Check out her blog and if you have a job offer e-mail her at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We're expecting official results from the stress tests administered to America's banks later this week. Early reports are that several of those banks are still under a lot of stress and will need to come up with some more cash if they are to achieve stability. We want to know: What's stressing you? Your bank, your job, the flu? Post your comments here!

3 THINGS TO HIGHLIGHT TODAY:
9:20: Autism Brain Images - Dr. Sanjay Gupta joins Heidi live from CNN's new "Magic Board." He'll talk about a new study that says the size of your toddler's brain may help doctors pinpoint if and when your child will develop autism.
9:45 The "Internet's Holy Grail"? - There's a new computer search service out there. A British newspaper says it could "change the internet forever." Others say it's no big deal–the folks at Google can stop holding their breath. Stephen Shankland from CNET News joins us to talk about how it works, how you can get it, and whether or not it will change your life.
10:30 Snapshot Across America - Class of '09. Throughout this month, you'll see special "Class of '09" segments on the Heidi Show. Today we'll talk to 3 graduating college seniors. None could find the right paying job. Instead, they're coming up with creative alternatives that allow them to pursue their interests, gain experience, and pay the bills. Parents out there - you should watch! You can pass along ideas to your graduating son/daughter...and increase the chances that they won't come home and crash on your couch the rest of their lives.
