Check Out CNN Newsroom This Morning

Coffee is brewing as usual and the writers and producers are typing away on their keyboards here in the CNN Newsroom as we work on putting together a great show for you.

Looking to make a little extra cash? Well, this interview guest caught my attention and should get yours as well. Janet Bodnar an editor at Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine looks at 11 ways to earn some extra dough. I’ve already have seen some of her tips, and let me tell you there are some things I would’ve never thought of. See for yourself this morning.

When I hear the name Chris Gardner I think of the amazing story about his life which turned into the best selling novel Pursuit of Happyness. His story then made it to the big screen starring Will Smith. Well, Chris Gardner is back with a new book called Start Where You Are: Life Lessons in Getting From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be. It features 44 life lessons, but one thing in particular struck me. He says don’t have a Plan B. Really? Hmmm, no backup plan! TJ will try to get to the bottom of this and more when he talks live with Chris Gardner.

Wake up with Betty Nguyen and TJ Holmes on CNN Newsroom Saturday morning starting at 6am ET/3am PT.

I have always said that Pelosi has her own agenda and she would lie to protect her self and her agenda she should get out of office and go home.

She says that she was told it was top secret. Well if it is against the law then there is no top secret, weather it's the government or otherwise. If any of our government breaks the law and others know it then it should be made public. We can't break our laws why can our employees, and that is what they are.

Question: I work for the federal government in Cleveland, OH. Where is our official pictures of President Obama and Vice President Biden? How much longer will it take – it's almost six months? Former President Bush official picture was up in all the offices the next day! I have 18+ years of government service, official pictures were always up much faster than now.

Sure, Pelosi is an ineffectual, hopeless, liberal, and Newt is an evil, maniacal, has been, x politician. But hardly newsworthy. The real story is The President who tortured, and lied to support his Vice Presidents assertion that Iraq is tied to 911. But CNN missed the boat on that one. Where were you guys for the past 8 years while the real criminals destroyed our country? Move along, nothing to see here...

Time to move on. Will it make any difference now, we can only learn from mistakes, I think it's time to leave Pelosi alone.
Obama's speech at Notre Dame..freedom of speech, we all are entitled to our opinions, even him. Act civil about it, why ruin graduation day. I don't believe in abortion, but why act dumb over it.

So Nancy Pelsoi is the scapegoat for these Rethuglicans, she isn't the issue, the issue is water boarding and these Rethuglicans aren't innocent. Pelsoi didn't issue the orders, have any of you bothered to hear what former Sen. Bob Graham has to say about being told about water boarding.
The media and the Rethuglicans need a story, they think blaming her is it.
Were has the media and why didn't you Rethuglicans stop this from happening yourselves.
The criminals for this are BUSH,CHENEY, RUMSFELD, RICE and all other top officials from the Bush administration.

I actually know a lady who was in CIA when the Vietnam war was going on, there is so much information the CIA didn't give the general public in that war, I have every reason to believe her, Seem as though if a group of secret service agents from an organization like the CIA wants to protect it's president and government from harm from a foreign waring faction, they would keep as much information from the public as possible? I am not saying it would be a good thing for them to do, but to pick on a person who was sworn to secrecy at the time, for Keeping themselves quiet, does not constitute telling a lie and the Opposition to Ms. Pelosi should be aware that we as the voters know what is going on. Thank you

Concerning the young man that was arrested for rape at the age of 13 and now attending college on a scholarship, I recently listened to the audio book"Outliers: The secret of sucess" by a Canadian author. And I feel as this author points out that your life depends on how you use the breaks presented to you. I hope this young man feels he may have paid his debt to socirty but not humanity.

I don't understand why make such a stink of things past. Let bygons be bygons. Let"s hope everyone learned from their mistakes, and look towards the future. The President is very busy trying to fix the mess that was left behind, let him consentrate. Nothing is going to be solved by stirring up the old crap.

During the coverage of the education rally in DC this morning, your anchor conducted an on air interview with Al Sharpton. However, in the background, a young lady was singing the national anthem. I could clearly see some people standing at attention, but many were distracted by the interview that was going on. It's hard enough to get young folks to respect the Anthem, so we really don’t need adults disrespecting it on national TV. How about showing some respect for the National Anthem!

I just wanted to say that in regard to Pres. Obama's visit being protested by some devoted Catholics(?) that he is not going there to discuss their religion.

He is going to speak about their future and that of what must be done in protecting our country in which he will be working hard to achieve results for everyone REGARDLESS of their beliefs in religion.

They should all open their minds. THIS is NOT about religion. Let them believe anything they want to believe since this will not affect that in any way

Although CNN is running news that a three-year-old California boy was found safe in Mexico, why not include the immigration status of his mother, an illegal alien who refused to cross the border to pick him up? Why are US taxpayers being asked to pick up increasingly large tabs for illegal aliens and their children when 1) Americans and legal residents are suffering 2) illegal aliens alone and together with hispanic gang violence create an environment of lawlessness throughout the US, responsible for the deaths of Americans, not just "anchor" children. Rather than seeking an eternal majority, the Democrats and Republicans should seek a solution to return all illegal aliens to their home countries. The "rule of law" should not just apply to Americans and legal residents.
