Re. Same Sex Marriage...I think the Feds need to get involved in this issue...the recent California ruling is even more insane than the Prop that led to the ruling. Basically, it states that, while same sex marriages aren't valid, the ones already performed are! How twisted is that???

This is a separation of church and state issue. We need to recognize that marriage is a civil union, whether confirmed by the Church or not.. We go to City Hall to get the license, then many choose to reaffirm that license in a religious setting. The Right is trying to make this a relgious freedom issue and dictate to City Hall who they can give licenses to. Churches have always excercised the right to refuse to perform the RITE in their church...ie. you aren't a member of that congregation or whatever.

Being laid-off turned out to be GREAT for me and it can be for you to.

My lay-off SUCKED AT FIRST then it became an OPPORTUNITY to tap into my unopened gifts and in time I started my own business. In my first year so many AMAZING things happened I decided to write a book about the entire adventure,

TO THE 16 MILLION PEOPLE WHO ARE LAID-OFF...

Listening to all the news surrounding the melt down of the auto industry in the U.S. I cant help but wonder if, or when, the top seated execs will realize that they have brought ALL of this on themselfs. How long do they think they can continue to outsource American jobs, and still have a customer base? Come on, they take away your job and then expect you to afford to buy one of their new cars. I believe the ONLY way for the auto industry to recover, is to bring the manufacturing jobs BACK to the states. If you INCREASE the working class, you increase sales. I dont feel closing plants, or dealerships will do anything to improve the condition of the auto industry.
