My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I am a few years older than Michael Jackson and grew up in Michigan, the home of Motown Records.
I was in love with the the Jackson 5; they are part of my generation.

I don't think he was that complicated. It seems that his identity was tied to his celebrity; he needed balance in his life.

He and his brothers were so famous, on the level of Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

As Michael beccme older, his popularity started to fade so he changed his appearance in order to re-invent himself to be at the top.

He never had a "normal" childhood so his only identity was with his fame.

I hope parents, especially learn a lesson from this; stop treating your children like "Cash Cows", trying to make them famous for your own benefit.

His song/video Thriller was best selling but he also later became a Jehova's Witness and wanted to distance himself from that image.
He even placed a disclaimer at the beginning of the video stating just that.

People feel so tied to his music because he was talented and music transcends all areas of our lives; language, race, religion & economic levels.

Please don't worship him, lets mourn him, not become absorbed his death and move on.

CNN enough with Michael Jackson already! Let the E channel handle his "eulogy"....I get it, the guy could sing and dance for some people's taste (not mine!). Otherwise, most of us wouldn't want someone like him to hang out around our kids!

In spite of all the weidrness surrounding him and the judgement that we have passed on him, we all must admit that his contribution to music will be, or already is, the strandard for other artist to be measure. His style on stage, his presence, his electricity will be unmatch. The on stage Michael Jackson was not an artist, he was a culture.

Michael Jackson was the Einstein of the music world, unfortunately I’m sure we’re going to hear many negative things over the next few weeks regarding Mr. Jackson, it doesn’t change who or what he was and the talent he shared with us.

1971 was when i first seen michael jackson perform with the jackson five he took the eyes off from the osmond brothers there were the two chiled icons michael jackson and donny osmond competing for greatness i guess we all know who won that race except now the race is over for michael just like elvis the king is dead .

June 25th 2009 will really be the day that music died in my eyes. The world has lost a very talented musical icon, Michael Joseph Jackson, also know as the King of Pop... I'm pretty sure everyone has had their own memories of listening to his music. Well, If it is possible, I would love to share my memories. I first started listening to the King of Pop at the age of 1 when my dad would play his records around the house. He had just about every Jackson 5 record you could think of. Even Off The Wall. The Thriller Album came out when I was about maybe a few months old, but being exposed to his music, I knew that it would have some impact later on in my life. At the age of 5, I saw his music videos and even sat through the movie, Moonwalker. When I saw him do the moonwalk across the stage, I sat in amazement because I thought it wasnt possible for anyone to move across the stage like that. But MJ made it seem so easy and just effortless really. We had just about every solo album that he came out with, from Bad, to Invincible. My favorite song, is Human Nature. But Thiller always scared me for real... But I grew to love it. I would be in my room listening to his music and learning dance moves because just like everyone else, I wanted to move just like him.. I know everyone is wondering what am I getting at with this. See, MJ had a influence musically over my life because not onl he was a great singer, he was also a talented dancer. Regardless of the legal issues he had and his"Peter Pan" lifestyle, he was still human. He had emotions just like us. I know that I will always remember where I was when I heard the tragic news for years to come. All I can do is listen to his music and bring back memories of how I came to Know the King of Pop... He was truely and influence to me, music and dancewise. and I hope that one day, I will forever do what I love the most and that is make people smile through my own music... Rest in Peace MJ 4 ever.

Such a sad day, he will be missed. I feel like the media tried to ruin his creditability for his achivements in his life with all the negatives. He is the King of Pop, and one of a kind.

Michael Jackson died yesterday, so did Farah Fawcett. I am a huge fan of CNN and watch it and listen all the time. Enough already! Isn't there any other news in the world other than Michael Jackson? How much can you pontificate about him? Yes he was a musically talented guy but he also had questionable problems??? Are we going to hear cut by cut a commentary on his autopsy next? Let's move on to some real news....

Michael Jackson will be missed no matter what some want to mention his so called "troubles" with the law.
If we believe that a person is innocent until proven guilty, then shouldn't we believe still innocent after being acquitted (proven not guilty)?
    The system works.
    Michael has been acquitted.
    Michael Jackson is not guilty.

Michael Jackson is a great man who lost his life at a young age of 50.
    May God bless his soul.
We will always remember him how great a person he was.

Farrah was a wonderful woman, and a great role model. She had a lot to offer, and she fought so hard for her life. She was an amazing person, I look up to her greatly. She was wonderful. She needs to be remembered as well, if not more, than Michael. And people should recognize what a strong, beautiful and amazing woman she was. I love you always Farrah!

Michael's music was with me throughout my life...his music was there for me during my most happiest times and during my first heartbreak as a child in junior high school...I'll Be There...and he was as I played his record over and over crying when my first love broke up with me.

My daughters, 26 and 31 came to sit with me last night as I just could not pull myself together. One might say...Michael died from a broken heart...the world sucked the life out of him in these last years. I will always remember that guy, Michael now you can finally rest, rest in peace. You didn't know me but I was "there."

I was brought up listening to Michael Jackson. He may have been just a singer to some, but to me he was an idol. It's such a tragedy to know the King of Pop has passed, but his music will never die.

I woke up this morning hoping that it was all a dream, but when I turned on my TV reality set in. I just started weeping again. I feel as if I lost a family member. I cant stop crying. I grew up with Michael Jackson. This is the person who I listen to as I got dressed for school. This is the person who I called my boyfriend. I'm 50 years old and just to think that he died at this age is very sad to me. Michael Jackson was a icon. I'm truly in mourning I will wear all black today and I will pray for this family. I know 1st hand what it's like to loose a love at such a young age and how it feels to have a love one to die so suddenly. I wish that we would have reached out more to Miachel. He was such a lonely man. I wish that all of the the artist that are coming out to say all of these great things about him would have told him these thing when he was here with us on this earth. We should have reached out to him then. This should be a wake up call for us all around the world. I hear the media saying things about the drugs that he may have been taking. Well this maybe true, maybe he was taking a lot of pain meds. I feel he was in a lot of pain. Pain from a broken heart and maybe he thought that if take these pills the pain of my broken heart would go away. I feel that a lot of people let Miachel Jackson down, and he died from a BROKEN HEART.!!!!!!! Did any of the older artist who watched him grow up and watch his life ever reached out to him or asked him son how are you doing? or if you ever need to talk to someone Im here?. Just think about it

I rejoice at the fact that he is free from the feelings of any loneliness, depression, or anything else that got him down. Free from spectators and slanderers that trashed his name by basing their opinions of him through mere hear-say…he said, she said and Judging a book by its cover! MANY people have judged a being that they knew nothing about. Only One was with him and truly knew him and thats the One of whom he dwells with now. Now he can Moonwalk on the moon!! I pray for his family, especially Janet cuz thats my girl and they were always close! I pray that these next few days wont be days about the allegations that ruined him in life and ruin his death. I’m am truly devastated!! I love you Michael! May God be with you! ~Rellz~

As I'm listening to the news, I can see where this is going. Let's talk about the man's music and what he has done for all of us on a global scale. I'm so tired of the media sensationalizing his financial issues and claiming it's the public's right to know. Let me ask, Heidi Collins, what's your credit score? Wolf Blitzer, how much is in your checking account? Anderson Cooper, what is your debt to income ratio? You are all public figures just like Michael. In fact, you are even more in the public eye because you spend your lives scrutinizing and investigating people, at least Michael spent his life bringing joy to people.

This amazing man was my idol ever since I was a toddler. It is way too hard to beleive he is gone. As soon as I heard he was in a coma I knew something was wrong. I cried as soon as they prononced him dead at around 5: 30 and didn't stop until 11:30. He was my hero. He will deffinently be missed and he will always have a special place in my heart. Michael was the true one and ONLY King of Pop.

    In regards to Michael Jackson:
We all must remember him for who he was… and what he gave to us. He always had such a passion for life, which was stifled for much of his formative years. However, when this passion was finally unleashed, an unparalleled gift was bestowed upon us. “Off The Wall,” “Thriller,” “Bad…” these were his gift to us.
I am drawn back to my 1971 Motown MONO promo copy of “Never Can Say Goodbye,” which I have been playing over and over for most of the morning. It was a #2 hit for the Jackson 5 for three weeks during the spring of ‘71. Even at the age of 12... there is something in his voice that pulls at my heart whenever I hear this song. He was such a consummate performer and musician. He knew at the age of 12 the meaning of never saying goodbye. How? Very few performers have that gift.
Sadly enough… during recent years, we pushed that genius aside. Maybe it was deserved. This has been discussed for many years., and maybe there are some indiscretions late in his life that we shouldn’t be celebrating. But on this day, we should take time to remember who we knew he was. I’m not ashamed to say I cried. He was not the King of Pop to me, nor will he ever be. To me, he will always be that little boy from Gary, Indiana who was pushed to far… and had nowhere else to go. I hope you have found peace, Michael.

I have listened to Michael all my life. He had so much energy and life in him. It is so sad that he has left this world. No other person will ever have the charisma that he had. This all reminds me of when Elvis died. The whole world stands still in shock.

As Elvis Presley was a legacy in his time, Michael Jackson worked very hard at what he did – unfortunately both died at early ages. Michael Jackson has touched the hearts of many in many different ways...I also remembering as a young girl dancing to his music and the song "I'll be there" was one of my favorite songs or "We are the world".....

My prayers are for his family at this time. It would of been nice for Michael to know how much he truly was admired and loved – unfortunately this kind of information comes out after one has died.

I understand the news worthiness of MJ, but lest we forget he (MJ) was also an "alleged" PEDOPHILE...And I believe most would agree, it was only his money that allowed him to dodge that bullet. Please don't think I am insensitive to the man's death...But, in life all the good one contributes can be offset by one bad attribute. For me...he will be remembered as a mentally sick and lonely pedophile NOT deserving of his enormous life achievements and recognition. Sad...very sad

It saddens me to hear about the death of Michael Jackson.
I grew up with Michael and the Jackson 5. Michael will always be known as a great son, father, and the first individual to break the cultural barrier with music.
Michael was a man before his time.
I pray that President Obama will sign into law a

There is know doubt that Micheal Jackson was a wealth of talent and gave to many throughout his life. I am sort of dissappointed that you are not giving another american icon Farrah Fawcett, who also gave so much strength to people including educating us and bringing "to light" womens issues in her acclaimed movies "The burning bed ,Extremities etc. One thing she did not bring to us was how celebs can buy their way out of crimes against children..anyway that is my thoughts

This is quite a shock. I remember him being the center of my universe in grade 2. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
I was quite surprised /though at the recent reporting that CNN has been giving; zeroing in on his dept/financial problems. Frankly, I find it disgusting. The man hasn't even been buried yet! I think it would be wise to wait until the autopsy reports before speculating.

Michael Jackson, a man, an entertainer, a person who has gone through trials and tribulations from a child til the last minute before he closed his eyes. This man had a soul just like you and I and he wanted to be loved not for what he had but for who he was and it's so sad to hear a superstar like Mike has gone home to rest in peace because he didn't have any peace here among the living. I fell in love with Michael Jackson when I was a little girl who just learning all the lyrics to "ABC". I always would had a dream of us getting married which I KNEW was only a fantasy but it felt good following his career through reading black magazines such as Right On! My bedroom was wallpapered with nothing but Michael and his many of different outfits. I will miss him and my heart goes out to his family especially Janet who I could see idolized her big brother very much. Now the King of Pop can put on his robe, sit on his throne, and tell his story to millions about how he became famous, live the life in front of the camera, and discuss how he traveled the yellow brick road to Heaven.
Take care Mike and glide across the clouds

When I was 10 years old, I got the "Thriller" album for my birthday, and from there my obsession began. Twenty-five years later, I have passed that love on to my 7 year old daughter, and we listen to his music daily. It has given me a certain kind of pride to watch her fall in love with songs that I have listened to for most of my life, by a man that truly was the "King of Pop." He will be missed by legions of fans around the world, but his music will live on forever.

How would you like it if on the hours and days following your demise the lies you told, the financial mistakes, all your life's obsessions and contraversies was broadcasted. The media is so insensitive. Everyone has heard the speculations and we know that all have made mistakes. This is not the time to exploit Michael Jacksons mistakes. I gratefully believe that Micheals fans who loved him and his musical message and those who new him personally and have all stated that his spirt was kind and gentle will write his legacy as a music icon and great humanitarian. He can now rest from the taunting media scrutiny. His music and his videos will now be reignited and we will relive that era and rekindle the phenomonal love and affection we have for him and his work.

I remember growing up in jacksonville, florida my mom and stepdad use to talk about mike , how he made good music and how he was very successful as a child. I can remember my cousins wearing those black and red leather jackets with gloves and curly hair. I have'nt heard anybody mention those funny imitations chris tucker did in movies comparing to micheal jackson and R.kelly. the eeh.eeh scream in the promise remix with ciara. When I heard he died I was on xbox 360 live, playing farcry, the people on live to shooting each other when they said. Hey micheal just died. I dropped what I was doing and turnd to cnn. I say people should leave that negative stuff in the past. 2pac,aaliyah,farrah,carradine,mcmahon,peter jennings, and superman will be missed but will live forever in my mind. I still play 2pac today. I'd like to address Dimitri D. who wrote a comment above..he said that Michaels dancing wasn't his taste..as far as I'm concerned Michael Jackson is THE very best dancer by far than anyone else in the 21st century!!!...

NO ONE comes even remotely close to the myriad of talents and dancing abilities of Michael Jackson!..I am going to miss him greatly and I'm grieving as though I knew him personally,I don't ordinarily grieve for people that I've never met but for some reason Michaels' death has affected me very deeply

....kisses and hugs to his family and to those who were fortunate enough to have known him personally..I will never forget Michael, EVER!

Micheal Jackson was my idol. I grew up with his music, I'm three years older han he. I remember buying the very first album. I wasvery excited. I learned all his songs and even had most of his dance moves down. I brought and have all his music. I never stopped playing and singing his music. Just last week, I was commenting on all the songs I loved and was preparing to put all his music together and transfer them to my MP3. Micheal was like a brother to me.
I come from a family of ten and we are all singers. My family have very similar up bringing as the Jacksons.
I got a phone call from my actual brother around 4PM yesterday.
My brother said, he got a text message that Micheal was dead. I said, get out of here that's not true, who sent you that message? I turned on the news, there it was Micheal went into cardiac arrest, but was in a coma. I thought ,okay maybe there is some hope, still following up with the news , later he died, I cried like a baby, I was so devastated , I was so sick. I couldn't get myself together for several hours.
I will never ever forget him I will always remember him for the very good person he was. For the record I don't believe he harmed any children. My prayers go out his family. I can't believe he's gone.
I'm going to draw a picture of Micheal and hang it on my wall.
This is something I want to do. I can easily hang his photos from album covers, but I feel drawing him would mean much more to me.
Micheal has truly been an inspiration to me. To Jackson Family,
    You have my deepest sympathy.

    REVELATION 21 Verses 3 & 4:

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,

Behold, the tabernacle of god is with men, and he

Will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,

And God himself shall be with them, and be their

    God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes:

And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,

nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for

the former things are passed away.

Michael Jackson reminds me of the most unlikely man, considering his gifts. Perfectionist, visionary, they shared the ability to affect individuals worldwide with their words, lived lavishly, coupled many contradictions in personal choices and actions that made some recoil, or at least question authenticity, and died with insurmountable debt. Thomas Jefferson. Contradictions, enigma, greatness.
For his children's sake, I imagine his greatness won't be tarnished by what the media will certainly dig up or make up to keep viewers on edge.

I am amazed to see how many great spirited individuals you have on air speaking to the death of michael.

His fans are confident, educated and unbelievable loyal.

Let that be a testament to how great of a role model he was at such a young age and to so many people while living in a glass house.

BROKEN HEART–This is truly a very SAD day for All that Love Michael Jackson For His Music and singing and being original. But I think the sadest thing is"HE DIDN'T KNOW WE ALL LOVED HIM AS MUCH AS WE DO" and just Maybe; he died of a "BROKEN HEART" because there HE was in a rented house,HE lost all he had. There were two boys who had accused him of sexual abuse, (which WE CAN HONSESTLY SAY WE DON'T KNOW HAPPENED) and he had to LIVE with that every day. HE couldn't go anywhere because of who he was, and HE got Called Names like 'WACKO JACKO' and if truth be told today I bet some of the people mouring his Death NOW,called him names. So SAD for HIM to BE so Alone,To FEEL alone. HE didn't know' we loved HIM THIS much. So just Maybe...if He knew, he wouldn't have shut himself up in a house and DIED ALONE; BROKEN; SAD; WOUNDED; felling UN-LOVED. Why do we wait until someone like Michael Dies to TELL them we love them ? Well Michael I Loved you and your music and I'm sorry WE never told you when you were with us. Paula-Louisiana

Michael Jackson was a true icon. A man who loved life and everyone/everything in it. He never had a chance to be a kid so he made sure many other children had that chance. We could all learn from this man on how to be a selfless person. He lived his life for everyone else and was still criticized for it. I remember my older brother dressing up i the whole outfit ( red jacket, glove and etc) Thats is who we should be remembering..The role model not the man he was accused of being. I think it is a shame people are so jealous of anothers success that they have to make their life a living hell. That man earned his success and will be remembered for that and his gracious heart. RIP JACKO you will never be forgotten!!!!

I am very sad that someone so legendary, who I have grown up watching and supporting, is no longer with us. I must say that the reporters from popular news networks should be ashamed of the speculating and grasping at straws that they are doing. We should let him at least die in peace since he was unable to live in peace. The fact of the matter is, he died and we are NOT sure why. I pray that we as supporters or even non-supporters will not entertain obnoxious reporters who are speaking just to be heard, but are lacking in evidence. Mike we will miss you.

When I first heard this horrible, shocking news, my first thought was prescription drugs. The greedy pharmaceutical companies that pump this filth into the bloodstream of decent Americans should be outlawed, sued, bankrupted, exiled, jailed. They have confirmed that Michael Jackson was in perfect health. He was NOT sick and did NOT to deserve to die so long before his time. They drugs decrease mental capacity while increasing addiction and compromise normal bodily functions with their poisons. People who go on them get addicted and are in too much of a fog to deal with it so they never go off, making the companies richer and richer and richer with never-ending revenues. It's blood money and these crooks should be held accountable. Prescription drugs killed Michael Jackson. What a tragic shame, what a terrible loss for humanity to bear. He was a beautiful person who suffered an unjust and untimely death.

    To CNN NEWS Room,
…….“Seek the Truth and Report it.”
if I may contribute and pay my respect, is by telling this story of how Michael Jackson reached Iraq.

During my tour of duty in Iraq 2005-2007, I met some of the locals and they were always pleased to see the American soldiers.
They always looked forward to receiving candy, Pepsi and Coca Cola products, and any type of entertainment products.

One of the many things several of the natives wanted to do is find a sponsor so they could migrate to the United States and build a career.

I remember there was one man who told me his biggest passion was listening to Michael Jackson records. He was waiting for his papers to come in and leave for the United States. He mentioned to me that he was hoping to travel to the U.S. and have an opportunity to see Michael Jackson in concert.

I was shocked to hear that in a war and combat environment, constant threats, and a place where water was hard to come by people were still influenced by the American Icon and had hopes in seeing him perform.

I am a child of the 80’s and I remember seeing Captain EO in 3-D at Disneyland, and I am listening to his album right now. No matter what negative stories are published about him, this experience in Iraq showed me that Michael Jackson’s reach was limited less.

May he rest in peace and join the other musical icons in heaven.

    God Bless Michael Jackson

    For Michael
How can I reach out and touch you when I am far away?
How I can I hold you and tell you that it will be okay?
I want you to know that I will be there when you’re in distress
I’ll be that place where you can find sweet rest.

When the world seems like its coming to an end.
I’ll be there holding your hand cause I’m your friend.
When the world starves and all left is small meat
I’ll me there feeding you making sure you eat.

When the gods deny you happiness and love
I’ll I lead an army and wage war in the heavens above.
If they tear the earth and make the land hotter
I’ll be wetting your lips with cold water.

When the sands of time deny us our youth
I’ll lay besides my friend in my last black suit.
So never feel laden, carry that load to the end
I’ll be right besides you helping as your loving friend

    May you finally find peace

Can we for one move past the negative regarding this man's life and just focus on the good that he's done. The lives he's touched in a positive way. Regarding his funeral services will it be held at one of the arenas there in LA and then it probably will not be a large enough venue, for the service. FYI my birthday is the same day as MJ's accept I was born in 1967. I loved this man and prayed for him regularly.

Everyone has lost a piece of their childhood 😦 Michael had so much love that he was taken advantage of, and made a fool of. This is the kind of society we live in. I was sent this in an e-mail from a dear friend.

"Michael Jackson was a great impact on the world...he defined a generation of music lovers. And now, because of his death, the music world has been shaken...no, not just the music world, THE world has been terribly traumatized. However, as you know, the deeper the wound, the darker the scar it leaves behind. And thats exactly what Michael left...a huge scar to remind us that because of this one man, the world has been different from what it could have been. Whether his influence was good or bad, he has left us a scar to remind the rest of us to continue his legacy, to continue to create the best music we have to offer, so that we don't disappoint his family, who are probably more grief stricken than most of us.
I admit I wasn't a fan of Michael, but even I came to realize that he was important. But because of his importance, after we recover from this devastating shock, we will never forget his music nor his impact, both which will live for ever as long as there are humans on the Earth."

I am in shock! I grew up listening to Michael Jackson. Growing up I lived and breath Micheal Jackson. I had all the posters, newspaper cliping, the glove! lol...the thriller jacket. I often got in trouble by my mom for messing up the walls with MJ's posters all over them, I remember there was no more wall space left so I started putting them on the ceiling. The greatest memory of my life is when my step father surprised me with the thriller album. I was so happy, I drove my mother crazy blasting it all day everyday! I am such a huge fan. . I feel like a member of my family has died. My heart hurts. My prayers goes out to the Jackson family. My message to them is to stay strong and in prayer. I know how they are feeling right now, b/c I have experianced the same hurt. My sister which was a year older than me was suddenly taken from us by a accidental shooting. That is a pain that's undescribable. To the Jackson family I know it's hard right now but through prayer and faith you will find peice. I'm am so sorry that this happen. I can't believe that Micheal is gone. Again, my prayers are with you.

Both Don Lemon and CNN should be a bit more professional when attempting to translate or use the spanish language (or any other language for that matter) which is the second largest language in this country , and the number on in LA, where Mr Lemon is reporting from. While recently commenting on the headlines for the papers on Mr Jackson{s death, he said that La Opinión´s Headline (El pop de luto) means (sic) "The Pop is gone". It does not. it means "Pop (music) mourns). A twitter or google translation, or just asking somebody next to him in LA would have prevented the mistake. Cheers, John. T. Walker

From baby boomers up to the elderly, from the 60's flower generation down to the newest generation, like him personally or not, Michael Jackson has made an impact on all of our lives musically. Whether an opera fan or a Dead-head, we all grew up hearing Jackson Five and Michael Jackson's songs for an entire generation and have their entire repertoire permanently ingrained into our psyches. The Jackson legacy grew from a fascinated awe and admiration for the talents of one so young and flawless to respect for the perfectionism, inventiveness, and creative genious of a visionary outperforming and amazing us all with his rhythm and unequalled talent.
Personal quirks and curiousities aside, one can only let one's imagination run wild with the how's and the why's of what caused and shaped Michael's inter-personal associations, attitudes, demons, eccentricities, and seclusion. What remains and will always live on is what he gave us all as an innocent child prodigy, a selfless iconic entertainer and a larger-than-life talented musical legend. Michael, thank you for all you've done for the world and for all the music I'll continue to enjoy and respect. You're a big part of all that has molded me and you will be missed, but your music will always be cherished. Michael was a superstar on earth. He is now a true start somewhere in the Universe as well. What a legacy! WOWWW!!!!

Michael Jackson was the king of pop. I remember ABC that he wrote with the Jackson 5. He was inducted in the rock n roll hall of fme with Jackson 5 and by himself. We all knew who he was and loved the songs that he wrote and recorded everyday. My mom grew up with listening to his music and knowing every word that he wrote. Michael Jackson was a music icon and inspired many singers like Justin Timberlake. He even inspired Snoop Dogg. Michael Jackson will surely be missed by his family, his fans, and even his kids and brothers will miss him the most.

    Rest In Peace Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was a very misunderstood, complex individual, who had everything, but had nothing. I believe that his only real wish in his life was to have the love and childhood that he was denied. Michael you will be missed, always remembered, and remain in the hearts of
many. Good keep you in his light and God Bless you.

When I first heard the news yesterday my heart filled with pain. I had the priviledge of seeing Michael in concert on his Thriller tour. The talent that one person can have is just amazing.

Although I was born in 1968 I always was around the J5 music, and then later as I grew up I just took the infatuation to anotherr level. Even though the whole family was very much talented, Michael just stood his own from day one.

I would like to send my condolences to the Jackson Family and remember God will put no more on you then you can bear.

    Michael May Your Soul RIP...............

Michael Jackson was, and will forever be the King of Pop! his influence on all forms of music can be seen today. He has inspired so many people to follow their true passion, and he is the only artist that I know of that is incredibly known and famous in third world countries where they dont even have a TV.
MJ is a legend, and an inspiration, and will be for years to come!

I owe to Micheal Jackson the biggest hug I ever received in my life, it was from a 5 year old boy at Christmas when he opened up his gift and saw the copy of Michael Jackon's Red jacket from the Thriller video; the kid almost snapped my neck, So today I return this hug to you Micheal. RIP

My name is Tori Williams. My younger brother Royce has been performing Michael Jackson's videos since he was five (He is now 13). We have grown up listening and watching Michael. I remember when my brother was about three years old and he would run when Thriller came on. Then one day he knew the whole dance number. He has never had any dance training except for watching and studying all of Michael's short films by hisself. We are all hurt by the passing of Michael Jackson but I know he will live on in my brother. God Bless and thank you for your time.

I am sad, feel sorry for him and his kids. A guy who never got to experience what childhood is, but helped everyone grow up with his unbelieveable music.

I think he was like a small plant litterally strectched into a big tree in no time in an unnatrual way and unacceptable. I blame the people who exploited him.

Please stop the non-stop coverage of Michael Jackson! Let's remember that there are two wars going on, turmoil in Iran, and many other actually newsworthy stories out there. How can you call yourself a news station when these other pressing issues and events are ignored for the death of one man who was by all accounts most likely a child molestor?

I wish life had given him in return what he had given to life.

We grieve for our loss, but I am happy that Michael Jackson FINALLY has no worries about his health, his finances, his fans, his foes, his anxieties and his comeback tour.

Michael Jackson was a true bright and shining "King." I am truly mourning the loss of Michael. He was the "Greatest Entertainer that has ever lived." His singing, dancing, and charity work broke boundaries and set the bar high for future entertainers to come. His body of work was astounding. His string of hit songs goes on and on. Some of his most exciting and entertaining videos included: "I'm Bad," "Smooth Criminal," "Thriller," and "Remember The Times." I just loved the Egyptian costumes and dancing in the "Remember the Times" video. Michael's legacy and impact on music, culture, history, and the world will live on forever. My prayer goes out to his family, friends, and fans. God Bless you Michael Jackson!!! Our modern-day King:)

Michael Jackson was/is the greatest entertainer of all time! I am shocked and hurt by his death. I remember being a kid watching him perform "Remember the time" from a chair because of an injury, and he still was amazing. I don't think anyone will ever top him. He broke barriers in the music world, being the first Black performer on MTV and I'm so thankful he was able to teach the world with his music. He will TRULY be missed FOREVER.

I am 42 years old, and I remember in the 80's, when i was a young girl, i use to act as if he where my baby dolls daddy. I would cry because all I wanted was to tell him how much I loved him and wished I could just meet him for only a sec. He will be missed so much. We all love and will miss him dearly. Wow!!!! Just so sad right now and there will be a void in all of our lives. He was the best ever.

Forget the lows of his later years – His failed and publicity-stunt marriages, his baby-dangling episode, his finance problems and molestation allegations – No one has ever reached the world-wide status as he did. How would anyone know how to handle that pressure? I can't judge that. Let's remember the good 'ol times in the 80's where he came out with hit after hit and became the symbol of a generation. We'll miss you Michael!

I think that Michael Jackson was an amazing singer and dancer. Especially when he was a kid. He was very talented and gifted in his work. I am not sure what my favorite song is of his, but he was a legend. Although I didn't like what I heard about him, I still believe in the dream of pop, rock n roll, and other styles that he performed to. I mean really Michael Jackson had some amazing footwork in that song Thriller that he performed. Even on America's Best Dance Crew they had the crews on one season to perform after him. So I just give great honor to him for everything that he has given us.

What a shocking loss! I saw him (with a young Sheryl Crow) on the "Bad" tour at MSG in 1988. Incredible!!! I watched all night as celebrities and people from all over the world shared their stories, experiences and thoughts on Michael Jackson. The vibrant and unbelievable talent that he possessed came at a very high price. He was a very lonely man. I can't imagine the sadness of being that alone for that long. It's heartbreaking...
I hope he receives that love now from beyond. R.I.P.

Although I have the support of family and friends as I grieve, yesterday I watched my hero, in a bag being wheeled away on a stretcher, and nothing anyone said could change that. Hello Heidi,

I was watching CNN 360 last night. I kept seeing pictures of Michael showing the German fans his new son. How negative! You as well Heidi, keep talking about his child molestration trial. You at CNN are so negative. Around the world, they show the music and talent of Michael Jackson but not CNN, always the dark side, the negative side of people. You take pleasure in destroying people's careers. You should look at what other news broadcasting networks do around the world, you will see that you are negative people and not at all in touch with world reality.

Hi my name is Georgia I am 47 years old. I live in the south in a city called Huntsville Al. Where there was plenty of music to listen to. We had our on radio station name Weup. When the Jackson 5 was introduced to the world the little black children in the south had a dream come true. We had our own black heart throbs. They gave us hope!! Most of all they let us know that you can be what ever you wanted to be. The whole world is mourning the lost of such a great legand!!! People do not understand what kind of effect this little boy had on the whole world. When this child opened his mouth to sing the color of this child did not matter. I thought wow!! All of that came out such a small person. And he was the same color as me!! I was amazed. Then when they performed on the Ed Sullivan show, and he and his borthers performed. That was the greatest day for the world!! They had let loose a legand and didn't even know it!!! I have loved the Jackson family from day one. I thought when Michael went out his own what was going to happen. Was he going to fall flat on his face without his brothers. No this youg man had a lot to share!! This was just the beginning. He has done so much for the world thur his music and his free caring heart. He gave back to so many!! Than when all of these cases came up. The american people that supported him. They turned there backs on him. But I never believed any of the things that was being said about Michael. The only thing i could think about is how is his going to deal with the negative things being said about him. Because to me he was still young in the mind. When I was outside playing like a child was supposed to play. He was all over the world performing. So you see he really never grew up!! Not until his children came along. These blessing were giving to him. Because God knew he would be a great father!!! From what i can gather and grasp he loved his children no matter how the children was conceived. This is the only father thay know. Please let them mourn the lost of there father! In my conclusion i would like to say. Thank you Michael Jackson for giving a poor little southern black girl hope!!!! You will always live in my heart ,my childrens hearts and my grandchildrens hearts. You will never be forgotten!! Sleep well my friend!!!

(RP). Michael Jackson, transition that we will always remember, the only star that shines with a gentle heart, music that reached across the rhythm of many hearts, dance moves that spark motions in every body. A man that spread acceptance of the art of "color" the mystery behind his eyes, the pain that's hidden, and the personality that sets people in total amazement. Rest in peace.

It just seems to me that after Farrah Fawcett passed away and then Michael Jackson we need to treat each other a little better in this world. Not that it's all so wrong, but we never know what adversity will be coming at us and there are great and beautiful things about each person and we want those things to survive and inspire people.

I am deeply saddened and devastated by sudden death of Michael. He was my hero and to billions of people around the world. He was the one who introduced me to America through his music when I was 10 years old boy and living in Africa.
He is the King of all music, yesterday, today and tomorrow. There will never be another Michael Jackson. His enemies have never given him a break. They were out to get him.
MJ we love you now and FOREVER. He was genius and creative and his fans love this musical legend for eternity.
MJ, we will remember you for EVER. RIP.

Call me crazy but I am not sad...acquitted or not, you do not give someone hush money for something you did not do. If he was a child molester that didn't happen overnight and that to me outweighs anything good he did no matter when he did it! Let's concentrate on Farrah someone who fought a courageous battle, or better yet be obsessed with some of the real newsworthy things happening in our world!

I hope Michael's soul finally find some peace away from the externally imposed pressures that came into his life.

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, so no man has the right to judge him.

We all have shortcomings in our lives, it's just that his were blown out of proportion for the entire world to see and hear. How many people on this earth would be able to handle that kind of pressure?? I dare say .....NOT MANY!!

i am still shocked that that god has picked another wonderful soul to complete his garden, micheal j. jackson was a innovated person with talent well beyond his years, his legacy of music spans from his countless songs made as a member of the jackson 5 through his own solo career becoming the king of pop, i feel that some people were to hard on him and passed jugdement on him, saddenning his heart, i will surly miss him and i would like to send my deepest sympathy to his family and children and note to the world we have suffered a great loss, there will never be another like him in this lifetime.

Michael jackson is the iconic figure of our lifetime. I came to the US from Morocco to live the American dream that Michael Jackson inspired me to dream at about 9 years old, needless to say he changed my life forever.

Michael embodied the possibility of dreaming and achieving. He was the soundtrack to many lives, his dancing was like a dream and we all felt like we' ve been on the moon dancing.

Michael Jackson also embodied a generous soul who cared deeply about all of us around the globe. He always wanted to show us hope, love and oneness. We will always keep his legacy alive by dancing to his angelic melodies. Michael, we love you forever.

Michael Joseph Jackson is the greatest musician, entertainer and public icon of all time. He's music has touched fans for decades and will continue to touch people for years to come. As kids growing up, we danced because Michael danced; we sang because Michael made singing look easy. He's style, his moves and his generous heart will never be duplicated.

He is the original 'MJ'... the artist that all past and present artists aspire to be. He did for music what 'Mohammad Ali' did for boxing and Black Americans – he made the world take notice to his music and not judge him by the color of his skin.

We've lost the most decorated icon in music history. My condolensences goes out to his family, children and all of his fans who knew the true man, artist, father. He's beginning a new journey and if you know Michael – he'll entertain and sing for the almighty father as he did for us. Rest in peace MJ – you will be missed.

Michael Jackson is a true legend. He proved that in the 45+ years of his life. He has changed the music entertainment world forever, and has made it that much easier to those following him. One thing that I am having a hard time with is, if Michael was sick early Thursday morning what exactly was his symptoms – which made the doctor not send him to the hospital, but instead treat him at home. We will ever know if those symptoms were indicators of something more seriously?

Michael, thanks for the memories. You will truly be missed, but never forgotten. To the Jackson family, my heartfelt condolences goes out to each and every one of you. As you grieve, don't let the negative take away from all the positive memories of Michael that you all have.

Micheal Jackson will always be remembered as the King of pop. He has always devoted himself to the people of whom love and adore him all over the world. He will be missed by everyone. I remembered first seeing him in the MTV video back in the 80's and will never forget the memories of my friends and I dancing to his music. I want everyone to just step back and allow the family privacy to mourn and not get so caught up on terrible negative statements made by jealous individuals. Please I beg of all of you to let the family mourn for MJ. Love always Michael rest in peace. Betty

I always appreciated Michael Jackson's contribution to the entertainment industry. Loved his style, some of his music, and his pop iconography.
However, I thought CNN was supposed to report the news in a balanced way. What about our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan? Aren't they our real heroes? Are we so shallow that we need to wallow in Jackson's life and death at the expense of real news? What's wrong with you people? If you need to delve so deeply into this entertainer's life, go work for E!
I'll watch my local news today to see what's really going on in the rest of the world.
    Shame on you.

Michael Jackson is my inspiration for my love for music & dance. I grew up with his music when I was 6 or 7yrs old. I can no believe that he is gone!!!!!! I always dreamed as a child to celebrate our birthday together.(8/29/89) I was suppose to go & see him at his concert in mid July in London.....but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I am a HUGE fan of his music. I love foerver love Michael. R. I. P. I was just thinking few minutes ago which I think they should put this on air!!!!! On his, "Blood on the dance floor" album he wrote a song called, "Morphine" & if you listen to the words carefully, now........it's really disturbing. He also mentioned demerol in the song...... Is this a clue that he was on or using this kind of stuff?????

Early Tuesday morning I woke up from a dream, I saw that that Mel C from the spice Girls had passed away suddenly and the world is mourning her death and I'm thinking but she was so young and she was fine what happened to her? why so out of the blue? I switched through the channels on TV and searched the Internet and found nothing.
Then, Late Thursday Afternoon I watched Micheal being transported to the hospital and then declared dead. I was in shock and cried as they kept playing songs from his childhood to the iconic ones like Billie jeans and Thriller. at that time I knew what the dream meant, it's because Micheal lived in our hearts and was loved so dearly!
RIP Micheal, We'll miss you!. May you find the peace now that this world couldn't give you! We love you!

It is such a sad thing to know that no one will ever have the chance to see Michael again and that such an extreme influence to the world has been lost forever. i remember seeing special about Michael on t.v. where he spoke about his first love being Tatum O'neal who is Farrah Fawcett's step daughter, kind of wierd. Hi, my name is Marrium and i am 12 years old living in West Bloomfield, Michigan. I have heard of the most shocking news last night at 7:15 P.M that Michael Jackson has passed away from abusation of drugs which caused his unfortanate cardiac arrest. I felt very shocked, and very surprised of the news. This made me feel really bad and i knew how all of his other fans felt when they also heard this news. Before, I never really knew the real Michael Jackson.. I never really knew why he was so loved around the world, and i never knew why he was known as the "king of pop and legend" but when i knew that his songs and his talented dancing
(which i really enjoy) touched and cherished fans hearts around the world, thas why i knew he was a real guy who joined all races......he wasnt just a guy...he was an extroadinary guy who had a heart of love and passion, and determination.

It is very sad to hear about his unexpected and shocking passing. I grew up with his music, my mom being the huge fan that she was. She idolized him, we as a family idolized him.

When I think about Michael, I only think about the good that he did, and the millions of lives he impacted with his sensational and breathtaking performances. I remember another favorite entertainer of mine, Usher, performing on stage not only with Michael, but also with the late great James Brown, who is another enormous larger than life icon who has left us.

Back in May, for our annual "Saturday Night Live" event at our High School, we started off the show with our own rendition of his record-setting hit, "Thriller." I cherish that now more than ever, and I am glad that I was able to be apart of it.

I keep telling myself that this isn't real, that it's a dream and he isn't really dead.

Although this musical legend has no doubt passed away, he will forever live on in our hearts, and through his iconic and spectacular music.

R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson. You will be deeply missed by billions of people worldwide.

I think it is absolutely DISGUSTING how CNN and other media outlets are highlighting the negative aspects of MJ's life. We all know about the legal issues, financial issues, and multiple cosmetic surgeries that altered his image. I wish you guys would concentrate on his musical genius and charitable work and his desires for a better place. No sooner than the news broke and I was able to get in front of a television, I saw across the screen news of his molestation allegations, Neverland Ranch being taken over by Sycamore Valley Ranch Company, and the absolute worse pictures of him post surgery. Are you guys serious? Is this how you remember an American Icon? i do appreciate the good words on his life and I think you should limit it to just that, good words. More than just fans, there is a family in mourning. Close friends and family of his. Like he said in one of his songs, "just stop dogging me around."

Yesterday, i was out and when i came back home, my parents told me the sad new... the king of pop died. i couldn't believe them. i didn't wanted to believe them. it wasn't true ! so i went on the internet and found out that they were right... i didn't wanted them to be right ... i cried the whole night and wishing that it wasn't true. i was terribly shocked. MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD! i still don't realise it because it was so unexpected! he planned his comeback and i was supposed to go see him for the first time. now i'm very sad that i never got to see him. michael jackson will never die. he's somewhere hereand his music will continue to be enjoyed by the next generations. yesterday, we lost a legend. he was a very lonely boy, without any estime of himself. he was wrong to have no self estime, he was amazing! and he will continue to amaze everyone on this earth. actually, i'm crying at the same time i'm writing and i'm trying to write as much as i can (well i'll have to stop somehow!) i'm heartbroken for his children and family. God bless him.he was so young to die! he's a hero and as i was actually saying, he will never die. he had to live under pressure and spotlights since he was 5 and i don't think he handled it, that's why he passed away. On June 25, 2009 we had a great loss. we're all thinking of you MJ and we love you so much ! i gope you feel better where you are. you're amazingly talented. we miss you so much ❤

In hindsight, my husband and I thought about it this morning. MJ's music planted seeds in children. My son, knew all the words to "BAD".We were so tired of hearing it. The song took on a meaning of its own with him. Now, he is a 26 yr old african american first year resident at Massachusett General Hospital. Need I say more. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Godspeed.

The passing of Michael Jackson is like the passing of a family member. He has been in my life since I was eighteen years old; I am now close to 60. His music transcends time, it was music that reflected periods of my life, it touched all phases of growing up-from childhood innocence to adult issues. There will never be another "Michael Jackson". His life personified "love". It is too bad that the scandals that tormented his later life is still a topic of conversation. I, myself, never believed he would hurt a child in that manner. But money doesn't have a moral conscience and people only see the dollars and not the person. He will forever be loved and remembered by me for his genius in writing songs that mattered, singing them from his heart, dancing with high energy and conviction, and helping me to escape to a better place while watching and listening to him sing. Rest in peace Michael, God has your back.

Yesterday was a heartbreaking day in Michael's passing and my Condolences to his family and the individuals who were by him through the good and bad times. What is upsetting and sickening to me is when Michael was going through those horrific accusation no one step up and came to his defense. He was alone..... Now all of sudden so many are coming to light and claiming their friendship and love... Where were these individuals when he truly needed them? Come on people, let’s show some respect and don't use this sad event to get free publicity. During his life he never got his privacy and peace. At least during his death we should have some humanity and give it to him. A true fan who saw HIM as individual and not just the King of POP. Evelyn from NJ

I remember the time, sitting with hundreds of people from all over the world on a staircase directly across the Eiffel Tower. Moved by its magnificence and the uniqueness of the moment, someone started singing “We are the World” and instantly the rest of us joined in this amazing human unity hymn. Michael was one of the few people who truly wanted to better this world. I hope we can unite in the spirit of love for humanity and remember him by trying to do more good.

no doubt the man had talent. i own all his good music which ended after thriller album. since then the man became the strangest person on earth. on top of that he was a child molester whether you fans want to believe it or not – go to the a website and read his initial arrest report from the 90's. it is a highly disturbing read and i suspect very similar to the case that he was aquitted on a couple years ago. anyone who has made that much money and dies cash strapped is an idiot. now i will be stuck listening to psycho tributes from other hollywood types (liz taylor) saying how amazing he was even though he died a very isolated and lonely man....but i loved the jackson 5 and "off the wall" without doubt

i have watched michael since day one. he is one pop star i listened to. (country music is my choice} . i never have and never will believe he did anything wrong with any child. it was a scam to get money from him. and i blame his father for half of his problems. the man never got to be a boy first. you will be missed. have a safe journey.

I also like to add that how i knew him was when he was accussed of child molestation in 2005. Yes, we all know what he did was wrong, and how he had a serious realtionship with a child younger than him and how he dangled his baby child off a balcony in his Ney York Hotel. But that still doesnt mean he is bad....of course all celbrities do these things but deep inside he loved helping people and he cared about them. I am listening to his songs, and i could tell he is was a very talented musician and recording artist. I want give my love to his three beautiful children and i just want everybody to know that we should think the Michael Jackson isn't dead. We should think he will always be in our hearts forever and that he will always be an inspiration to all of us and to his fans out there. He showed everybody that as a black, he kept his head held high and he faced many rumors and scandals and challenges in his life. But i still think he is awesom and i know he was an motivation and inspiration to others and told peple to keep their heads high and never give up. To Michael Jackson: I know you cant read this, but i just want you to know to all the songs you've sung in the past has reall made people know the real you, you opened up your real talent to us and tha is just what we will always remeber forever. May god bless you so much and may people remember you forever.

Michael IS, Was, And Always will be the greatest performer the world has ever seen and most likely will ever see in this lifetime. He was a ICON and a vigilante to all. He broke molds as well as took down walls to bring all of us the entertainment he felt we so deserved. God Bless you Michael and may your family have all the blessings that God can provide for them.

Michael Jackson was my hero! Michael was almost everything to me. Michael Is the best talented singer and dancer i have ever seen. I am only 10. I was born in 1999 on January 9th. Since i was five i have started to listen to Michael Jackson's music. My favorite songs of all time by Michael Jackson are ABC, Want you back, Thriller, Don't stop till you get enough and Black and White. On Thursday, June 25, 2009 i was so shocked that my favorite singer has died caused by his health. You are nothing like Hannah Montana or The Jonas Brothers you are so famous since you were 10 that i know of. You are my roll model. My brother is into your music also he is 16 now and just seeing what happen on the 25th on June in 2009 was so heart broken. I can't believe this has happen. It is so far for you to die but it happen. From this day on ( Thursday, June 25, 2009) I will never forget you or your fantastic music ever. This moment was so shocking for your family. Your family was so proud of you that since you were so young you have came so far with your music. Take care soon Michael. I know everyone in this world loves you.

    I LOVE YOU

These memories will never leave my heart

Time to release; put this world to the side.
Had a beautiful life and a wonderful ride.
Now he is gone but lives on in our hearts…
He impacted our dreams and our lives.

Celebrating today for this iconic man.
Saddened we weep; we don’t understand.
Why did he leave? It’s just disbelief…
    He lives on…
    …and we grieve…
…who will wipe the tears away?

We are hearing about the questionable (at best) choices Michael made in his life– remember this; when you are no longer restrained from making any choice you desire, when you have the money to so, the entourage to make it happen, and no one who wants to lose income by saying no to you.. well, we have all made bad choices in our lives, but bigger money, bigger life, perhaps bigger bad choices? I grew up with Michael– I remember my neice having a poster on her wall of Michael in the 80's– she was so surprised that I too, an 'older' person LOVED it, and loved him–he not only transcended race and gender and music styles, he transcended age divisions.. I miss him

"Like a flower quickly fading. Here today and gone tomorrow" A life short lived. From his early age to his sudden death, he gave everything he had in humility for others like me. I've really appreciate his life and impact that he has had on my life. Part of my childhood is lost but this is the beginning of a new chapter for the future. I will NEVER forget him. As long as I sing and dance, he will always shine through me. Thank you Michael! I will miss you!

This is a great shock to everyone. Although I have never met Mr. Jackson he was a part of my childhood as well as my childrens. I am 46 years old, so I feel a real loss, "no way, not to Michael Jackson" It's just unbelieveable. My children who are not 26 and 29 would imitate his dancing when they were children. It is really shocking to them as well. MJ will be missed, my prayers go out to his family. I hope they find comfort in knowing what every pain Michaeal may have had, it is no longer hurting him, he is free to be himself in the arms of the Lord.

I remember listening to Michael's music as a child and noticing that it didn't sound like he was trying to make a hit song, it didn't sound like he just wanted to make money, but it sounded more like he wanted to change the world. That is the most inspiring thing I remember about Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson was my childhood superstar best friend. I remember falling asleep every night with his "Thriller" album, he looked so handsome in that white suit. His voice took me away to a place of peace and harmony. How lucky my generation was to have such a talented, God gifted man share his passions with us. The world will never be the same without him.
May all the splendors of heaven comfort him forever more. Thank you MJ. You are loved.

I was born in 1980 and Michael Jackson's music is a huge part of why I am in the music industry today! From owning the Thriller LP, to the Bad tape and then the Scream CD, I owned, loved, danced and sang along to Michael's music. My children also have listened to him since they were born and are very upset at the news of his passing. Like so many have said the music of Michael will be played way beyond his years. I hope that he had peace in his heart at the time of his passing and that his children will know his love for them and not just what the media had portrayed...

Michael's bad choices? what about the choices made by his family and friends and those surrounding him? I think a mother knows her son, and I heard that his mother had said Michael was naive and a target–she couldn't protect him. and if anyone needed protection who didn't have it, it was our precious and confused Michael

I have to share the most amazing thing that happened yesterday. My daughters (ages 27 and 26) and I were walking into the local Walmart when both of their cell phones went off indicating a text message. They each read their text and gasped. I asked what had happened and they both said Michael Jackson had died. I felt like someone had just punched me. I asked how but my daughter was already replying to the text with that question. The answer came back "Cardiac Arrest." We continued into the store feeling numb. Just as we walked through the door cell phones began going off all over the store. You knew when the person had read the text because of the gasp. The words "Michael Jackson is dead" were being uttered everywhere, then the same question I had asked. Our experience was being repeated everywhere. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking about Michael and the joy he had given people. Then my oldest daughter said the most touching thing I have heard since the tragedy, "I don't know how to feel. I've never not had Michael Jackson in my life." To Michael's family, please know that our hearts and prayers are with you and we, like you, mourn his passing. We'll miss you, Michael!

I am in total shock over the death of Michael Jackson, total shock!!! I got up today in tears and as I think about Michael I think about my own son who has gone through so much and compare some of his situation to Michaels'. He never got treated the way he should have been from the media and from some of the people who said they loved him. There were those who hanged on to Michael like friends and all they were there for was a slip and fall to sue him. It was always sue him sue him and make up stories to get money from him. He is in Heaven with the Angels, may his soul rest in peace! I pray for his family and the good friends, the honest and good ones.

Peace and Love Michael, Peace and Love

I remember watching the Jackson Five when Michael Jackson was the cute little boy with a big voice.
As he grew up and changed his physical appearance, I paid less attention to him. His music appealed more to my children. I heard bits and pieces and saw videos now and then but it was just part of the noise in the background of my life.
When his appearance became macabre, I thought of him as a joke. He was weird. I judged him without knowing the facts. Now, after his death, I am learning a lot about him. I'm sorry I judged him without looking at the man behind the mask.
His death is a loss to us all.

When Michael sang at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, I went to see him by myself. I was not a kid and was brought up with Elvis, but Michael was the closest to Elvis as an entertainer. They both were so unique and bigger than life. When I had the chance to see Michael when he came back with his brothers and played a week at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, I went every night to see them and paid $75 a ticket. I took my son with me. My son was so inspired by the music that he became a musician. We would go to his Encino house regularly and watch the family go in and out of their family home there. I will miss him and will never forget the joy he gave me with his music and enthusiasm and uniqueness.

The real issue is not the destiny of Michael Jackson's spirit, but ours. God knows MJ's heart & is acting accordingly. Question is, "What about us?"
I encourage EVERYBODY to read Genesis chapter 3... About the fall of man... Adam & Eve's fall, is our fall... Which explains the reason Michael Jackson passed away.... & the only way to keep from our eternal fall (Hell) is acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord & Saviour.

I remember when I would drive 200 miles every day in order to attend a university and I would always rely on his up-beat album “Thriller” to keep me awake in the late night drive home over the Cajon pass. In many ways, he saved my life on those long drives.

I must tell you, very little ever shakes me up… But the death of Michael Jackson shook my world to the core.

He was an icon among icons. When I think of Michael, I always think of his love he brought to the world through his music.

There are no words to express the feelings that I feel for Michael Jackson's death. It has impacted me a great deal and my family. I must admit that I grew up with his music, however, I never believed I would be so greatly affected by his death. He was supposed to be here for a long time. Michael was a great legend of Pop. He inspired the whole world, and I don't think he even expected to have had such a major impact on the millions and millions of people that he did. He will be greatly missed by many. Michael Jackson's lyrics has always made a difference, especially through his inner pain. We could never even imagine what he has suffered deeply within his soul, and we may never know.

I would like to send my deep deep deepest condolences to Michael Jackson's family, friends and most of all to his loyal fans.

I remember seeing Michael for the first time as the Jackson five on the cartoon show the Jackson five on Saturday morning and then on Sunday morning I would watch the Osmonds and their front man Donnie Osmond.

Once Michael left the Jackson five and went out on his own it was entertainment destruction. Yes, he experienced a huge amount of success. He was musically gifted and that was his downfall. He was told by those who saw a mint in the making that he would never reach the heights of success which he are destined for unless he changed his face. Remove your blackness. So he went out and had numerous surgical procedures done to his face disfiguring him taking away his blackness in order to make him more like the people who were purchasing his records. Then the brutality which existed in his home during his upbringing came back as he felt it necessary to begin playing with young children in most inappropriate ways. He bullied Paul McCartney into selling the copyrights to all the Beatle records.

Michael Jackson dies a tragic figure.

Michael jackson is the greatest performer that has ever lived, his impact on modern american can be seen and felt in most of today's current artists, I have been in the entertainment field since the age of 6, my career started right around the same time as michael's did, i remember the first song that i performed was at kennard jr high school, and i sang "who's loving you" in front of the entire school, i have been inspried by michael jackson since then, and i really admired his showmanship and musical talent, and i will be working everyday to continue his legacy, michael's music will live in the hearts of millions of americans and fans all over the world and that will never die GOD BLESS MICHAEL JACKSON AND HIS FAMILY.

I am emotionally saddened by the passing of Michael. I grew up in Gary, Indiana. My family moved to Los Angeles when I was ten.

I may have gone to Bannerker or Ernie Pyle with Michael, I do remember the sandbox at our elementary and playing with my classmates. I do recall humble beginnings in Gary and that we were not allowed to go into their neighborhood.

I am 50 years old now, so we share alot of childhood memories. My own children now listen to his music-how much he has touch all our lives.

I had a dream eariler this week-someone had passed, people came from all over the world...I couldn't have known it was Michael. Ironically, the day before his dying I purchased Michael's History I CD, somehow, it was in my soul that he would leave this world and pass into the next on June 25, 2009. Rest in peace, Michael and may God bless his family in this time of mourning.

Michael Jackson have been such an amazing inspiration for many people as well as myself! I have been his admirer since I was a teenager, that's half of my life. He is the true reason I even speak English and have a successful career in the USA now! I am from a fogeign country and started to learn english because I wanted to understand his beautiful songs. See where I ended up?

When times were hard I would listen to his music filled with love, compassion and kindness. The songs Heal the World, Keep the Faith, WiIl You be There have influenced my lfie and character tremendousely. I don't know where I would be right now if not for Michael Jackson music's presence in my life and his magic touch!

People needed to appreciate his genius and love him more when he was alive instead of bringing him down. Michael will always be an inspiration to me and my family! I love you Michael!

I have reached an all new level of disgust with the press. As a Beverly Hills nanny I never could understand your mindset that it was OK to rush celebrity children on a playground or at a school, thereby scaring the heck out of multitude of children. Lately, I thought it went beyond bad taste when the press showed up after the death of Natasha Richardson and shoved the cameras in the face of her two young grieving sons. Yesterday, once the press heard that Farah had "gone" they did not have the good grace to say "Sorry" to Ryan and leave him in peace, instead they surrounded his car and badgered him with more questions. But, it goes beyond all human decency to show photos of Michael Jackson in the last attempts to revive him. At what point do you press junkies say enough is enough and let people have dignity in their final hours? You are proof that mankind is devolving.

Micheal Jackson was my first and only concert that I was privileged to see as a child. I was in disbelief when I heard about his passing. I will never forget the way he made me feel. He has touched my life in so many ways. He was stronger than many people give him credit for. The prosecution he suffered was more than many of us could have beared. I truly believe his kindness was taken advance of. He is in God's hands and I pray that I will see him in heaven when the Lord decides it is my time. I do not know anyone that did not adore him. My parents, silbings, children, cousins, friends, and everyone I know love him. He will truly be missed. I employ everyone that love him to pray for his children and family that God's will be done.

Jesse Jackson said it best " we are out of our Joy and Michael is out of his pain".... with all that has been said, Let's take time to acknowledge the Lord for depositing such talent into this young man....Such an EXTRA- Ordinary being in the flesh. He is the example of "Child hood memories"....a talent never to be duplicated. The world must remember that he was Michael Jackson to us but he was a son and a brother and a father and a nephew... we all know what it is like to loose a very close family member and for the world to acknowledge that such as you live... you must pass on....My prayers go out to the Jackson Family and my childhood memories go out to Michael Jackson...I am 35 years of age and he has not just impacted my life and my husbands life, but also the lives of my children. How many men here on earth do you know that can bring the world to a halt with just his Name...?.. Many Blessings to the family and to the nation as we celebrate the Life of Michael J. Jackson

I remember the story my father told of a young Michael, my father had the honor of being Michael's Body Guard...of all the box's filled with fan's warm wishes Michael could only talk about his love for animals.
He would rather be surrounded with furry friends, then all that mass fan attraction...He adored all of us I always felt that. His fans really did it 4 him, he loved us all. My father was one of the first to see him grow, he was a little boy, with the cutest cheeks EVER, we could checha bella him all day we are Itialn we do this a lot, my father adored him.
I did not know this untill I was an adult, I spent my entire life loving Michael that love will go with me to my grave. The world is at a lose, I am at a lose my heart is aching. My deepest sympathy to the family, my pain for this to soon lose is Soul Deep. Love, Peace, God Bless and Be Well. Your 4ever fan.poet2two

I grew up with MJ. I have been unable to stop the tears from flowing since I heard the news. I am 3 yeas older than Mike and I remember seeing him first on the Ed Sullivan Show.... and the pride I felt.... as great as the Speriment gun twins .... for the brief moment that commerical was allow to play in the South... two beautiful black twin girls and.....five handsome black talented young men...... they changed the world by stepping up and stepping out to represent us all... I can never remove the music from my heart and soul. My children all grew up in awe of Michael and the ol' school music that continues to express our emotional feellngs, ties and views of the world......they are 29, 27, 26, 17 and 14......and it hasbeen as if we all lost a close famiy member.

Michael Jackson was the best artist and entertainer to ever grace this planet. He set records, broke records, won awards, had amazing performances and more. So I feel like his death is his very last performance and the WHOLE WORLD is watching! He loves stuff like this and I’m sure he’s loving all the adoration and love we’re sending to him

You know Barry, I kinda feel not having a black president wasnt necessarily due to a racial issue more than i feel a argument issue.

You see when we argue we show different interest and the world sees an inner focus.

So now that we look more united and now the us appears to have no more enemies.....you found some new ones.

I honestly would be so concerned with the North Korea Deal only if I knew you had kept up with that man Kim jou li.

Media you still have not explained to the american people as to why he looked so different and how did he got in that condition so quickly without every seeing his transformation.

I am stunned and heartsick over Michael's death! It unbelievable!

Michael Jackson was a musical genius. His music and performances touched the world. Michael grieved for his childhood and you could sometimes see the loneliness and sadness in his eyes.

My mom took my brother and I to see the Jackson 5 when we were little. I had a crush on Michael back then. As an adult, I wished I could have met him.

Michael, may you rest in peace.

There are no words to express the feelings that we feel about Michael Jackson's death. It has impacted us a great deal and our family. We must admit that we grew up with his music, however, we never believed we would be so greatly affected by his death. He was supposed to be here for a long time. Michael was a great legend of Pop. He inspired the whole world, and we don't think he even expected to have had such a major impact on the millions and millions of people that he did. He will be greatly missed by many. Michael Jackson's lyrics has always made a difference, especially through his inner pain. We could never even imagine what he has suffered deeply within his soul, and we may never know.

We would like to send our deep deep deepest condolences to Michael Jackson's family.

Ugliness killed Michael Jackson. A pure heart was allowed to enter our mist and bring beauty into our otherwise ugly lives. We destroyed Micheal with our inability to recognize and understand the innocence of a pure heart. Like hungry lions, Michael's innocence and naivete was viviously devoured by ambush preditors of exploitation. Our own innate preversions tainted the essence of this childlike spirit. A heart which warmed us with such magical and moving music cannot be filled with the ugliness we have tried to attribute to it – ugliness cannot produce beauty. The king of pop is dead. He died of a broken heart – we killed him with our ascribed ugliness.

Michael Jackson was a wonderful person who did so much for people. I was so in awe of his music as well as his performances. They're aren't too many people in the world like him. My husband and I really admired him. Michael you will be greatly missed. You are one of those people we never expected to leave this earth even though we know that everyone has to do it one day. Now you're in heaven letting your wings soar like the angel you were here on earth. You will forever be remembered in our hearts and minds. Your music will live on forever and just know that there will NEVER be another that can even come close to being the icon that you were. May your soul rest in peace. May God comfort and strengthen the entire Jackson family in their time of grief. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers. Just remember that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Michael Jackson came into this world to touch as many hearts as God allowed him to while he was just passing through. We will always love you Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson's music was such a huge part of my life, growing up. So many good memories with close friends, a simpler , innocent and carefree time. I don't pretend to know the pressures and stress he was under. What is clear is that he was a talented performer and a gifted artist. He gave 200% to his craft and I think that is why he was so successful. He had songs about making a change, healing the world, and of course, Love. Instead of dissecting his life, let's just celebrate his contribution to music, dance, philanthropy and so much more. Even though, our culture never really gave him the opportunity to be a flesh and blood, human being in life. In death, can't we at least give him his due? Can't we just love and respect what he brought forth? I know I will...Thanks Michael, for the music and the memories. You are one of a kind and you will be missed!

Cause if we the ppl of this world would all get together and not be so nasty to one another, this place would be a better, and we would not be having all kinds of war, sicknesses, and the planet would also be better..He was also the best in his field and no one can and would change that...May he be in a better place, and at peace with him self... It is always sad when someone we love is no longer with us. We mourn and celebrate the lives of those we love often, without many people being aware because they were not in the public eyes.

When Icons like our dear beloved Michael departs our lives millions of lives are touched. He shared his life with millions, enjoyed fame and notoriety, took the scoffs and scorn of those who were either jealous, vindictive, gold-diggers or piggybacking off his status; he has been a symbol of hope and comfort for many, taking into consideration those that are less fortunate and always seemed to be putting others first. His smile, his personality, generosity, in helping to deal with the issue of hunger all over the world, his talent and selflessness will always been etched on the minds of all those he has touched who mean and wish him well.
    HIS MUSIC WILL LIVE FOREVER.

Those who are bent on destroying and tearing people down with their negative remarks need to look into their lives and be cognizant of the devastating effect that this carelessness could do to someone, and they will have to give account for this crime (yes crime) committed against others if they don’t ask for forgiveness. Michael has in no doubt suffered negatively from those whom he has even trusted and would call friend. Many of their negative comments and actions have definitely added to the stress and depression that he had to deal with.

Michael was young at heart and the child-like personality that we see sometimes was comforting, as we know that unless we humble ourselves like little children we cannot see God. Michael was humble. God be with him. He did not take his life despite all of this. He bore it all, suffered, withdrew to the point of even being an iconic recluse, as there were those who were willing to do or say anything to promote themselves at the expense of destroying Michael; even those he trusted would be guilty of this.

This is SUDDEN and SHOCKING. May they all do the right thing by his children, and not cause them further harm, and award custody of his children to his parents and family, than to award them to the State and others who are not concerned about their long term welfare.

May God who sees and judges everyone embrace Michael and look beyond any faults he had and welcome Michael as His own. His name is not just Michael for nothing. He was chosen. This is evident by the lives he has touched and the work he has done in this life in such a short life span. May his family and friends take comfort in the fact that no one else will be able bother him. We thank him and thank God for the work Michael has done all over the world to help stop hunger and helping to give hope and comfort to all. May his soul rest and now they could JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE

I am shocked and devasted by this tragedy.
I remeber being awed when the Jackson 5 burst onto the airwavesin the 60's. We watched the J5 cartoons in the 70's, Ben", The Wiz, Michael's solo career and his videos on the then new, MTV. As kids we danced to "Rockin Robin, ABC, Little Bitty Pretty One, I want You Back, to name a just a few.
I was among the crowds in the 80's, dancing to Michael, & watching his dance moves on the big screens at nightclubs.
We cruised while listening to "Off the Wall".
We wanted to be with him, dance like him, dress like him.
We were white kids from a small northeastern. suburb. Michael Jackson bridged any race gap, he wasn't black, he was "Michael Jackson", and we just loved him.

He not only grew up with us, he was supposed to get old with us.

I was so looking forward to his comeback and seeing his enormous talents once again. For him to reaffirm his rightful place in the music world, as the unparalleled entertainer that he was.

I cannot watch all the tributes on TV or listen to him on the radio right now, it is too painful. I am crying my eyes out without watching.

To those who criticize him, deny his impact, genious, and talent, feels personal to many of us, it is diminishing our history and how we felt about Michael through the decades.

I cannot imagine what life would have been like without the Jacksons and their contributions to the music industry.
I am not alone in feeling like part of me has died. For many of us, Michael was always a part of our lives. We literally grew up with him, and his death is the death of part of what we lived, and who we are.

I feel such sorrow for the Jackson family, their grief and heartache must be beyond comprehension.
I pray for them, that they can find some peace.
I hope they know that we grieve with them, and are thankful for Michael, and all he has given to us. He was so loved, and will live on forever in a special place in our hearts.

God Bless the Jacksons at this time. .

Michael, Thank you, rest in peace.

Having grown up in the 70s and 80s when Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson were the icons of that era, I can’t help but have my youth flash back in front of my eyes after the events of yesterday’s sad news.

I have suggested that everyone make a donation to cancer research in tribute to Farrah Fawcett and to make a purchase 1 or 2 Michael Jackson songs or an album of his to help his children erase his almost $400M debt. We made a purchase of an album of his number 1 hits. A sad day it was – so many memories come flooding back where my life was affected by the music of Michael Jackson and the smile and the hair of Farrah Fawcett.

I want to say this man was the GREATEST not one of the Greatest but the GREATEST to ever entertain the world! It seems to me that you guys want to bring out all of the negative in his life all day yesterday talking about his debt and all of his flaws. To me it seems like you (CNN) is trying to defame his character and that is not right. I don’t see you talking about how much debt Ed McMahon was in, Just for the record I have never seen anyone die without being in debt. So do me, Michael, his family and the rest of his fans a favor and let him rest in peace without any negativity. The world is aware of all of his short comings so celebrate his life and all of the positive that he has done for the world. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Again he is the GREATEST to ever do it nobody before him and nobody after him will ever top him and what he has done in the music industry or in his personal time with charities so on behalf of me and my family Michael Jackson Rest In Peace!

Michael will be missed terribly, he created music, not just noise with no message. He gave and gave until the well was dry and yet everyone wanted more. There was no one there to refill the well, and it ran on empty for far to long. He is in a much better place now. To bad there will be nothing but money grubbing people still taking and taking and taking trying to cash in on the legend. May God take him and cradle him in his arms and give him the peace he could not find on this earth.

His death was a real shock and hit me harder than I thought possible. He will be missed and is greatly loved.
He is an inspiration and playe d a huge role in my love for music and brought joy and smiles to my face growin up and watching him perform.. Smooth Criminal 🙂 Billie Jean 🙂 Thanks Michael.

I pray he is in a better place and his soul rests in peace. Please observe a moment of silence and say a prayer for THE GREATEST MUSICIAN AND ENTERTAINER THAT EVER WILL LIVE!

Words are not enough to describe the emotions felt by his death but i'll borrow those of Femi Ajets's in IMMORTAL – A TRIBUTE

    I thought you were immortal
    I thought you were immortal
I thought you would forever be here
I never knew the day would come
    When I would look around
And you would no longer be here

I remember the very first time I saw you
I was but a baby when I saw you then
I saw you all dressed up
Falling like a star from the sky in our black and white TV
Wearing a tuxedo and dancing to
Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough

    It was magical!
I thought you were the most beautiful thing ever
Even to my childish and untrained eyes and ears
    I was entranced by you
Then you asked me to Rock With You
And I did – all night
I was in love with this guy in the short black pants and the single white glove

    Along came Thriller
    And I was blown away
I couldn’t get enough of the Thriller video and its dance moves
You asked me to Beat It but I still wouldn’t move
But when you told me about Billie Jean
It was all over – I was mesmerized!

I was ready to go to the end of the world with you
I remember how I’d run to the nearest TV set whenever
The sound of Billie Jean came on
I did the Moonwalk so many times
I could have blamed it for stunting my growth
    I would have been a six-footer
If not for my obsession for getting the Moonwalk right

    I loved you as a Jackson 5
I screamed to I Want You Back
ABC, 123, Baby you and me
I danced to The Love You Saved
And I romanced to I’ll Be There
When I first heard Ben, I thought it was the most beautiful song

You were the music of my adolescence and of my youth
You gave me a song for every stage of my life
And for every thing I went through growing up
You asked me if I had seen your Childhood
And I felt your pain because I could relate to it

I fell in love several times to The Lady In My Life
Which I thought was the most beautiful love song ever written
I still think so till this day
And I’ve cried and endured numerous heartbreaks
While singing She’s Out Of My Life
Till this day I’ve not stopped looking for my Liberian Girl
I couldn’t understand Human Nature until you explained it
And I still wish I had that PYT to love

You spoke about the Man In The Mirror
    And he inspired me greatly
So much so that I desperately wanted to Heal The World
    For We Are The World
Even though I had no idea how
But you told me to Keep The Faith
That although it was Dangerous out there
You would not slither away like the Smooth Criminal

I got the call today and I was stunned by the news
I confirmed it and I couldn’t stop crying
You touched my life in more ways than one
I have never cried at the loss of an entertainment figure
And I hope to never cry for one again

    You were a colossus
You bestrode the world of entertainment and my world
    You transcended music
    You were an icon
    A legend

I first saw you in black and white
    And till this day
I couldn’t tell if you were black or white
Not that it mattered to me anyway
    Since you transcended race

    You captivated me
    You mesmerized me
    You inspired me
I remember all those battles I had back in the day because of you
And how I hated Prince because some friends would say he was better
And I would say, “Other than Purple Rain, what else?”
It’s all so silly now – looking back

    They called you weird
    They called you wacko
I have no interest in discussing all the allegations and trials
True or false – only you, the accusers and God knew
It is not my place to pass judgment on you
I love you for the man you were and for the great music you made
And the only name I’ll remember you by is genius

    I couldn’t stop crying
Then I asked myself – why was I crying?
Twas then I realized that I was crying because of my own mortality
That if you could die, then I wasn’t gonna live forever
Twas a shock to my system
Because I thought someone like you could never die
I thought you would forever be here

    You are not alone
Because you will forever be with me – in my heart
    For you rocked my world
In ways I couldn’t even begin to describe
And for that I will always love you

    I thought you were immortal
    I thought you were immortal
    But wait…

    I guess you are
    Your music and your memory
Will live on long after I am gone

    You are immortal!

    Adios Michael Joseph Jackson

I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing away of Michael on yesterday. I have cried all day today. It was as though a part of my childhood passed away too. I was only 7 years old when the Jackson 5 began recording with Motown in 1969. All of the children in my neighborhood went willd over Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 at that time. Whenever I listen to their earlier songs, it reminds me of my happy and carefree childhood. We listened to the Jackson 5 recordings and watched them on tv as often as they would appear. Michael Jackson stood out from among the rest of the group because he was very cute and extremely talented. As a teenager, I followed Michael Jackson's music career primarily by listening to the radio and reading the teen magazines. I would cut out the posters of Michael Jackson and Foster Sylvers to hang on my wall. Most young teenaged females at that time used to dream about getting a chance to meet Michael Jackson in person. Also, any guys that we became involved with had to look like the handsome teenaged Michael Jackson. He will be missed. I do express my deepest sympathy to his family, friends and many fans. Sincerly, vak. 6-26-09

MJ was and still is an amazing artist. He changed the world with his revelotionary music and performance. He is an insperation to many of today's artists. But first it was, Elvis then John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Freddy Mercury, now MJ! .But although his death was tragic, he deserves the peace he received. R.I.P Michael... We'll miss you, old friend...

When i heard of Michael Jackson passing, i felt and immediate emptiness in the pit of my stomach. Michael Jackson was a man of great talent, vision and strength. However, due to his unhappy & lonely childhood (thanks to his daddy dearest) his life was at most times empty. Did he truly know what a real friend was? Has he ever truly had someone to care for him outside his family without getting payment? I guess his heart just could not take the turmoil and emptiness anymore. He had given so much to society in the past 4 decades. How has society repaid him in his last years? His song "i'll be there" will no longer bring smiles to my face but rather tears for years to come.

June 25th, 2009 will be remembered as the day we lost OUR KING. Our Elvis.

Michael i wish you a peaceful slumber.

This is just so sad and upsetting! Michael Jackson, the one and only "true" King of pop, gone! I tried to intake this trajic situation over night & I actually woke up this morning in hopes that it was all a dream. Well, It wasn't.

I didn't know him personally, but I knew him in heart, mind and soul. I grew up with his music and the vision of a boy with a dream. A dream that was torn to sreads by the public. It's a shame that the critics couldn't see through his bizzar actions. It was obvious that the Pop Icon was full of stress and needed not torment, but the same love that he shared in his music. I'm sure that many of the choices he made were due to the fact that his life was tainted with hate. Of course, Michael was adored by people nationwide, but he was also dispized and steriotyped in many ways. The obscene name calling, false accusations and public humiliation in which he enndured, where enough to drive anyone mad. As I sit back filled with emotion, all I can do is feel the pain and loneliness that he endured. He was a Man, whom as a child lived an adult life. A child, whose childhood could never be regained. He grew, and with his pain, saw that of the world. In which he felt that this talent that was forced upon him, his music and most inner feelings could help heal the world and with that, himself. We all saw that even as an adult, Michael craved his youth. He shouldn't have been judged, for many of us including myself, wish that we could go back and be young again. This world is just a big bully! So cruel!!! When are we going to learn! The "hate" and "greed" in this world helped to create the Michael that he became. This man, sang to the world in hope of change. Like Michael said as a child, " I only sing what I feel".

I myself, live my life based on music, and Michael played a big role. His music helped me to express my deapest emotions. The advantage that Michael had was what many wish for,"The chance to voice their opinion". Michael is a hero, and will live on through his music for generation to come. My family and I loved and always will love Michael and his music dearly. We send our condolences to the Jackson family and wish nothing but the best!

Michael... You finally have the peace and tranquility that you well deserved. You will be missed, but will "FOREVER" live within our hearts!

    We love you!!!!!

A lot has been said about what Michael Jackson did for children and what many might say he did too them, but what I can't understand for one example, is the reports about him paying millions to a family who lay claim on him for molesting their child, has anyone stop to think that if he did commit such an act, what kind of parent or parents would accept money from such a person.? I mean, don't you think that wouldn't come into play here.? If I had a child and someone did this to them I would spend my life trying to get them jailed, not accept money. I will never believe Michael could do such a thing, he has always been misunderstood as many people are, and I'm not saying he all clean, I don't think too many people are, but come on, really.

I have watched your newscasts all day and have just watched you speaking with the forensic pathologist. I just want to comment that his statement about 911 being called sooner might have saved his life. I am a paramedic in Indiana, all ambulances are equipped with state of the art equipment and medications that can bring people out of cardiac arrest and the paramedics on those ambulances go through very rigorous training to know what to do in these situations but if 911 isn't called immediately then these attampts can be futile. Every second counts in cardiac arrest. I mean no disrespect for doctors but I have worked with enough of them to know that a doctor by himself in a situation like this one is not equipped to do anything but CPR and believe it or not a lot of doctors don't even know how to do CPR the proper way.

The Dr. on today's show was absolutely right that Michael Jackson should have gone to hospital the previous night .However, even if the Dr. there did suggest it, Michael may have refused to go, particularly as there was a Dr. present, he may have thought that was enough. Who knows?

Let’s remember MJ greatest work he did for us, for the World

Here are some lyrics of his most inspirational music. “Heal the World” “Men in the Mirror” and “We are the World”: Heal the world make it a better place for you and for me and the entire human race. There are people dying if you care enough for the living make a better place for you and for me…

I’m gonna make a change for once in my life it’s gonna feel real good, gonna make a difference, gonna make it right. I’m starting with the man in the mirror, I’m asking him to change his ways and no message could have been any clearer if you wanna to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and then make a CHANGE….

There comes a time, when we heed a certain call when the world must come together as one, there are people dying, and it’s time to lend a hand to life the greatest gift of all. We are the world, we are the children, we are the ones who make a brighter day so let’s start giving, were saving our own lives…

He was a true and real genius artist of all time… Peace and love for ever you will be my King of Pop music MJ

Words can not explain how i feel about michael jackson death.I dont know whether im happy that hes gone and hes not suffering anymore or that im sadden i know that hes gone. This is really hard to deal with.Im only 16 years old and i loved michaels music. My parents didnt really allow us to listen to alot of music that was negative but to music that you can enjoy and that has meaning to it.my 3 favorite songs of michael was "Man in the Mirror"."Black or White" and the song "Speechless".The song "man in the mirror" and black and white really had alot of meaning to it.One some talks about change and the other said basically it dont matter what your enthic is we can all get along and like the same things.THE SONG "SPEECHLESS" was talking about how someone he loved and how they made him feel and it said that in the most beatiful way as possible. One of my dreams was to meet him or to be able to see him in concert. But now i will never get to a opportunity experience that.He didnt even get to say his good byes but thats a good thing because everybody knows that its hard to say good bye.Where not going to use the word good bye because that word means that the memory fade.So where not saying goodbye to M.J even though you are truely missed but where saying "I'll SEE YOU LATER" CAUSE WE KNOW YOUR IN A BETTER PLACE.

What saddens me is that people fail to realize that, like many Americans, Jackson's accomplishments must be viewed thru a lens of realizing that he arose on the shoulders of enslaved ancestors. Up until the mid 1990s, ask anyone the question, who was the richest Afro.Amer. family in America? And, they would have responded "The Jacksons." In fact, many sociologists argue that prior to the mid 1990s there was no black-Amer. person or family who rivaled the Gettys, Vanderbilts, Morgans...except for the Jacksons. Now we have Oprah and a generation of Hip Hop musicians who made money promoting negative behavior, but Jackson to his credit sang about LOVE and PEACE. As Americans we see Michael as a mega Icon, b/c he represents what those who are descended from slavery can accomplish...this is something that no matter how hard he tries, our beloved President Obama will never represent. God bless you Michael, all Afro-Americans understand your tribulations, and we shall continue to celebrate your accomplishments.

To Those Who Would Be Judges,

Michael Jackson was a gifted human being who yes have made mistakes as we all have and for those on here who want to say that he is a child molester be careful how you judge others...your secrets that we the world may not know could be worst than anything Michael was accused of and never found guily of. I cannot say what he is guilty of because I am not his judge but based on our system of law he was acquitted and if you were in the same situation and acquitted would you want it constantly thrown up in your face. I pray that if he did do anything wrong he asked God to forgive him and the people he may have hurt bot for their sakes but for his own.

Micheal Jackson was solded into intertament slavery as a child . His parents love of money over looked his pain, for micheal soul was sold for riches and gold; While the public looked on and saying or doing nothing to help him,but enjoying the labor of his pain. When micheal became of age, he was freed from slavy, but it was to late, for he was just a shell;his soul was gone, for he only knew how to be a puppet;so he went back into this slavery ,because it was the only life he knew;but not knowing that he would have to give up his shell( looks) to please a world, money hungrey managers, fans, ect. Micheal died a long time ago,but we did 'nt see it,because we wanted to be intertained. We all killed micheal jackson.

    To Dr. Gupta,

On hearing the 911 call on M. Jackson with the idea and understanding that he had a cardiologist at his bedside. As an RN red flags go up knowing they were giving CPR with Jackson lying on the bed. You are taught to put a person on a firm surface in order to render proper CPR.

Also it has been noted in recent reports that Lidocaine was present at his home. Was there an AED connected to him? You should not give Lidocaine to a patient without some type of monitoring system in place.

Instead of foucusing on a possible drug problem as being the cause for his death someone should be looking into the doctors medical abilities. I would like to know your thoughts on my questions?

    Thank You!

Michael Jackson is the biggest and most influencial performer of all time. For black Americans of all ages it has been like losing a close family member. He open doors for all black entertainers and, in my opinion, helped bridge the racial gap. He challenged us all to do our very best. I was a featured dancer on the TV show "Upbeat" when he and his brothers hit big in 1969, and he definately influenced my style of dance. Michael, I love you and will carry you in my heart and soul forever.

Michael Jackson was the first person I saw dance and I wanted to be just like him, I think everyone is inspired by him and looks at him as the standard of what anyone can become in this world of entertainment. If my turn comes to become a star I will make people remember him through me every time I perform. I remember my mom telling me that when I was 2 years old I watched the August 24, 1997 performance of "Billie Jean" on television, I would mock and imitate Michael's moves and fall on my butt trying to spin like him ha. That night I watched the thriller short film and man I was so scared I peed in the bed and had nightmares. Now I dance, sing and do my own music, I have been dancing ever since that performance R.I.P. Not to sound selfish but I always wanted to meet you Michael and now I know I will when it?s my turn to leave this earth! Thank you for showing us the best music, the best dance moves, and more...R.I.P Michael, you are the best and always will be...the KING OF POP!

I just want to say that Michael Jackson to me will always be known as the man, the myth, the legend. He has contributed so much, not only to just the music industry ,but to the world. I am glad that Michael is at eternal rest because the scrutiny that he received here on earth no man should have to endure. I wish the media would focus on all of the many contributions and positives things that he has done in his life instead of all of his trials and tribulations. If you could not respect him in life, please have the decency to respect him in death. I am glad the Michael is in peace which was something he never got here on earth. Rest in peace, Michael . I sat in front of the tv devestated by Michael's passing... My husband called me to see if it was true.. He was working with Pete W and they couldn't believe the news.. Our family has know him for 22 years so we feel like we lost a friend. My husband handled his security back on the BAD & Dangerous tours and worked at the ranch.

Our memories of Michael include an extremely generous man, brillant, caring, devoted to his friends and loved a good gag. Its heartrenching to hear everyone bad mouth his behaviour when they never met or talked to him. I was profoundly moved to read Lisa Marie's comments about her ex-husband. My husband spent so much time with the two of them and he believed in their love for one another. I am so happy to read about her true feelings and how hard it was to walk away from someone who meant the world to her.

Our family would like to extend our condolences to his family, children and friends. We were going to try and attend the shows in London for my daughters graduation but now her dreams of seeing her idol will never come true... She is heartbroken...

We have always loved you Michael and always believed in your integrity...Thank you for trusting my husband with your life..We will miss you so much!! God be with you!!

It is sad that the death of Michael Jackson overshadowed the pro-democracy movement in Iran. That is something much more important to much more people and to the security of the world. If the legacy of Michael Jackson is to take the focus of the people of Iran, such as Nada, that have died for freedom in their country, then his legacy will truly be as perverse as his life seemed to be.

Please let focus on actual news and leave the fluff to E! and other entertainment programs. This should had had as much coverage as Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett's death.

I was born in 1981, the same year that MTV was born. Many children grow up pretending to be Super Heros or cartoon characters, but as a child I thought I was Michael Jackson and Gloria Estefan. He is ingrained in my memory, and in my childhood. I was influenced by his passion for peace and humanity. "Heal the World," "Man in the Mirror," "They Don't Care About Us," "Earth Song," etc. The list goes on. I look back now at the subjects of his music and I can see he genuinely cared. I think the state of the world caused him pain. And finally it was too much for him too bear. It is tragic that we will never see his comeback performance. But at the same time I'm amazed when I look around and see Michael being remembered for the good he did, and for the amazing and talented performer he was.

Thanks, Tony, "for remembering the times" and taking the time to reflect. I met Michael in Los Angeles not long after the "Off the Wall" album, at the Hollywood Palladium ... got a picture to prove it. He was very gentle, introverted, soft spoken, shy, etc. He only came out of his shell long enough to show his like for Marvin Gaye, who had just been announced to perform. Michael came to life at that moment by smiling broadly, tapping his feet, popping his fingers, gently swaying his head. After the performance, he went back into his shell. I was standing right next to him with very few people around, except for Jane Fonda, who had invited us to her "Stars Come Out and Shine for Solar Energy" awareness and fundraising campaign. It is so surreal to me to think (and know) that he is gone ... but not even remotely close to being forgotten! Keep fighting for Michael; no one but Michael could know what it was like being Michael Jackson ... transformations and all. He now can sleep peacefully and not have to worry about what anyone thinks of him! He has nothing to prove ever again!

From past few days i am listening to the comments that people are making about Michael Jackson, no body cares what he gave to us, to this whole world, he tried to bring all of us together. People are making comments because he was an entertainer not a politician or something, if he would have been a politician probably than people would be adoring him saying he did this for us, he did that for us. I just want to say this to people, if u don't want to morn for him then don't do it but don't say harsh stuff too specially on cameras, there is a mother who has just lost her son. Michael Jackson is a angel, God took him away from us because we didn't care about him. LET HIM REST IN PEACE.

I remember Michael Jackson, when he was 8 or 9 yrs old, he may have been older. My ski club at that time booked the Jackson 5 to proform at one of our events in Chicago, on King Dr in the 48 hundred block on the second floor. This is before Motown or any other company booked them. One of our ski club member lived in Gary Ind.and she booked them for us. Michael made a statement to me , that he didn't know that Blacks skied. May GOD blessed him. He will be remembered forever.

You know Michael Jackson did more that just give us music, and the media/people that are questioning why we are holding him so high need to think about his other MANY accomplishments in life and the many people that he helped. He didn't leave his talent at just singing and dancing. Michael loved the world and wanted to help everyone. He gave to Charities, created a place where children can be children and experience the wonderment that they otherwise would never be able to. He gave children what was taken from him, his Childhood. Michael Jackson was on loan to us from god, and while here he made a difference in so many peoples lives sacrificing his own life to make a difference in the millions of lives that he touched. when i think of michael jackson i think of the young michael and how his childhood was stolen .i also think of hearing of the sexual relationships with those children and thinking why would someone say that. i just want the family to be in my prayers. rip

i had no probem donating money to pay for the funeral because we the fans wanted that. I am sure the Jackson family would have been happy with their private service. I think that the tickets should have been paid for not given away. We as fans wanted to be a part of the service and say our goodbyes that was done for us. And look at how the so called fans are doing they get a FREE memorial program book and look at how much they are going for on ebay, they are making money off something that was given to them thats GREED at its best. Those people aren't fans they are just in it to make a dollar, so why shouldn't they donate some of that money to help pay for all the FREE stuff they got, while us TRUE fans had to watch it at home. I would love to have been able to go and recieve a memorial book that i would cherish forever not try to make a dollar from, or in their case thousands of dollars.

To the family I thank you so much for sharing that time with us, and giving us the opportunity to say our goodbyes. I watched it with my children and we were glued to the tv, as i have been this last week. I will continue to keep you in my prayers as i know god is with you at this great time of loss . We will continue to keep Michael alive in our hearts, and through his music as i know i will pass it on to my children and grandchildren. He was one of a kind. and I feel blessed to have been able to share in his music all these many years, and live in time with a true legend and humanitarian. Thank you so very much and God Bless You!!

    RIP Michael Jackson
