this green job stuff is a misguided dream made up by al gore to make the rich richer in reality its going to cost the poor extra money's for there utility's bill's at the most it will do is create 1/4 % employment leaving the other 3/4 % devistated with disconect notices from the utility company's causing people to freez to death during the cold month's and die from heat strokes during the hot month's all these grand idea's is nothing more then the same o same o take and steal from the poor and give to the rich .

This country needs jobs now not 1 or 2 years from now.I have ideas on how to get jobs going in this country, but it will not happen if this Administration is in place. So these elected officals need to all be Impeached. Then We can put together a system that works for the people instead of holding them down and choking more money out of us. Randy

Whether it is the answer in a tough economy, who knows...but, it needs to be done, why is this so very tough for the naysayers to understand. It is not about options anymore, We are doing a true disservice to the generations to come. if we don't. It has to start some time (as in now and this should have been addressed many, many years ago).. Most importantly, it is about our world and everyone has to do their part as quickly and efficiently as they can. We are the only country who can't and thought we were to good to manufacture a vehicle with gas efficiently and cleaner air. There are so many more examples.

As in healthcare and a green economy and government overseeing of the worst national and international greed of criminal intent, including the national and international gross mismanaging of banks and AIG.
The buck stops here on all of this, it must be done. GOP would have let all this go on forever with no thought or care for a children's future all the while putting some aside for their own wealth, whether directly or through lobbyists. I am total support for anything President Obama puts in movement for the future of our country, world and many, many generations of children... no question.

The naysayers truly do not realize that as this newest generation sees way for green research and development, then in turn, these jobs are created in the thousands and millions. Sure, it may take 10 years but it will explode with new technologies, manufacturing, research and global competition and global partnering. Come on people, think outside the box, you can no more project its impact on the world as you could the computer and all its applications: graphics, communications, research, medical, social impacts. I would like to have seen these same naysayers 50 years ago as when we entered into computer technogy and now into nanotechnology and beyond. What if we had said no to technology and its need to be developed and researched? Yes, naysayers, it is one of the same.

Some examples of green jobs would be any one working to build or maintain green power, such as nuclear, solar, or wind power. Other examples might be installing more energy efficient appliances or windows. Another examples are researching or implementing ways to use less resources, such as creating organic plastics or alternative fuels.

The hope is that in doing this we are able to create a more highly trained work force. Sort of like sending the country to school. Also by investing in this one particular area we hope that we will be able to use less resources, to reduce their scarcity.

This direction seems to be the way technology and society is moving, even without government intervention. I feel that this will have benefits for America the real question is whether or not these benefits will be worth the cost, and this is a question which only time can answer.

I wish the government would stop lying and tell us how bad it realy is. Some americans no that the economy is not going to get better any time soon. All this spending is jsut inflating the economy. Honostly we need to oust the government and fill it with new politicians. The ones we have do not work. Its the same cycle every election. People dont you realize most politicians stay in there role of power for decades. We cant make change with the same people running our government. You think they care about the people. Look at what they do. The governor of SC, why wont his party kick him out. Just ask yourself that question my fellow americans. They think they are above the law and you know what they are. They might say they work for us but they dont. They only do whats best for them and it pisses me off. Our government has been hijacked by greedy lawyers and lobbyist. I have lost all faith in the government. The judicial system isnt any better either. My fellow americans wake up!

Never mind my last message.

Clean and Green helps keep are environment healthy. If we dont start creating green jobs now, we will not do so in the future.

On the pluse side, we need green jobs now.
