People who criticize "We are the World 25 " for the Lil Wayne additions etc. are the very reason why our world is still so divided. I am a professional with higher degrees in my mid 40's and remember why and when the first version came out. It made me stop and think in the same way this one has; who knows if it would have had the same impact if it failed to include all of the "stars" of my generation? If we don't change with the times, we risk having the younger generations miss the message; than we like to say young people don't care. We need to speak their language to get thorugh to them; they too will grow up – in the mean time we need to meet them where they are. If Lil Wayne (who I enjoyed) steps up and gives his time so that perhaps teenagers, 20's etc. will listen, I think that is AWESOME; we all need to ak ourselves what have we done?. We are the world MUST include the Lil Waynes, Miley Cyrus' and all of us who are reading this. When you start wanting to leave anybody out, it defeats the purpose. How can we come together to help others if we are still trying to create divisions amongst ourselves?
