Across the nation and on Capitol Hill, many are blasting Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning for blocking a $10 billion measure that would extend unemployment benefits to more than one million Americans. Bunning claims he doesn’t want to add to the national deficit, but Democrats argue this emergency funding should not be subject to the new “pay as you go” legislation.
