African Children’s Choir

Tony Harris received a rare treat from the African Children’s Choir in the CNN Newsroom. They sang great songs of hope in Africa, trying to bring awareness to their continent’s poorest and neediest.

The African Children’s Choir has been helping Africa’s most vulnerable children since 1984. They are active in seven countries across Africa and support the education of over 7,000 children.

As our blog bonus, we interviewed an alumna member of the choir Annette Nabbale. The Choir taught her how to sing and gave her a quality education. She now has a degree in video production and is using her skills to help direct the choir and help her community in Africa.

once you meet them, your life is changed forever.
everyone falls in love with them, and with their chaperones.
it is such a joy and blessing to hear and see them when they perform...but also to hang out with them afterwards...
this program is incredible...it matters not what your personal politics are, these are innocent children of the world, and they deserve a decent chance.
they sing and dance into your heart when you see them, and they stay there forever!

America elected Pres. Obama along with the majority democratic
senate because they woke up to the officials with special interest taking care of those with special interest. It all comes down to greed.
This health care bill will seriously affect the super rich in the insurance and health care industry. Most of the republicans have been put in place to take care of the wealthy and their agenda, at any cost. America is not fooled anymore. By the way last time I checked the President doesn't own any corporations that can put millions of people back to work, stop jobs from going over seas and laying off thousands while stock piling millions in offshore accounts and swiss bank accounts. America is not fooled anymore.
