:30 Second Pitch

Our :30-Second Pitch is a chance for job seekers to make their case to any employers who are watching. Thursday, Kyra Phillips introduced us to Zina Everett of Warner Robins, Georgia. For the past three-and-a-half years, she has served in the Air National Guard. She's a single mom with two kids… a 15-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter. She has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Fort Valley State University. If you’re interested in talking with Zina Everett about a job you can contact her at zinaeverett@hotmail.com.

You can watch :30 Second Pitch every Thursday during the 10 o'clock hour of CNN Newsroom.

Kudos to you Zina for re-inventing yourself. This is a little unorthodox. But I am a participant in President Obama's W.I.A (Workforce Investment Act) the stimulus money form the President that our looney Governor finally let us use. I may be going to school to be a Customer Relations Specialist or for Project Management. One thing for certain. After my 10 yr military career in the Air Force police/personnel/Special Operations I am in desperate need of a good paying/benefits & job security job to help my wife and kids.
