They are kicking off the “One Goal: Education for All” campaign in the United States. The campaign is aimed at helping the 72 million children worldwide who still lack access to basic education. More than a quarter of young adults are medically ineligible to serve in the armed forces, according to Mission: Readiness, a group of retired military officials. The main reason why young people are rejected from the service? Weight. The Mission is calling for Congress to pass a new childhood nutrition laws to remove school junk food and improve nutritional standards.
