More than 125 of America's top CEO's, all under 30 years old, met in Washington this week to tackle the job crisis and announced their new “buy young initiative.
Let's see: I am supposed to believe that it is the 'age' that makes the difference? Since I am 75 and have had several careers...I find this little movement interesting...but flawed in the basic premis. It isn't the age...it is the willingness to work, the intelligence to use creativity...the skills to make things happen and to keep them going. Since John McCain and the McDonald Owner are the 'Mentors'...I find the reference to 'Small Business' interesting...since neither of those people have any idea what a 'small' business is. McDonald's owner did once, but what has John McCain to do with small business? He was military and is a 'back and forth Republican'...who supporst whatever is expedient for him to support as long as it gets him elected. Nope...'Buy Young?'...nice, catchy title...without factual meaning, IMHO.
