    Thank you Mr Burroughs. You are the 1st person I ever heard say what my heart told me when I woke from a failed suicide attempt in 1978...I want to end my life but I don't want to die...that empowered me to make the changes I needed to in order to survive.

    Does the first commenter know that his comment is totally unrelated to this story? I saw the Augusten Burroughs interview yesterday and re-watched it this morning. I think his advice would be helpful to anyone struggling with anything – which is all of us! Can't wait to buy and read the book.
