After four days of pageantry marking 60 years on the throne for Britain's beloved monarch, Piers Morgan and Brooke Baldwin wrap up and look back on CNN's coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Celebration.
I think the coverage was done well. My only comment about the coverage was how the press zeroed in on the Queen wearing earplugs to the concert. Remember this is an old women that has shown grace and stamina during this celebration, she shouldn't be ridiculed for wearing ear protection. Many young teens should take a lesson from her before they become deaf.
To some the celebration as a waste of money but it shows unity amongst the British people something we lack here in America. Too bad we can't learn from this instead of becoming so polarized because of a few people that want everything their way. we don't need a Monarchy but we do need some common ground that we too can rally around and become "One nation under God" where "all people are created equal" as our founding fathers wanted. We should never loose sight of that.
