    I think the soft drink industry is worried they may face a campaign against them like the tobacco industry did. So they're circling the wagons as a precaution.

    It is necessary to be well informed to combat obesity, it suffient to for soda companies to clear myths to help understand.

    The real culprit is High Fructose Corn Syrup. HFCS came on the market in the 1980s big time. There is a direct correlation between the large ingestion of HFCS with obesity and diabetes.

    Why isn't the media talking about the dangers of HFCS ?
