Music mogul: Beyoncé has amazing talent

Brooke talks with Former President of Columbia Records Michael Mauldin about Beyoncé's lip-synced performance at the presidential inauguration. Mauldin, who helped sign the singer in the days of Destiny’s Child, tells Brooke Beyoncé is authentic and says, “I didn't know that she was lip-syncing by no means.”

What's the big deal about Beyoncé's lip-synced performance at the presidential inauguration. She is a well known award wining accomplished singer that didn't want to embarrass herself or the President on this historic day. It was still Beyoncé's voice that sang the national anthem and not some Beyoncé wannabe filling in for her.
Doesn't the press know when it's time to drop this issue and cover topics that really affect American's lives?

Brooke you are in neverland re Beyonce. Do you really think Madonna, Jennifer Lopez etc. really dance all over the stages and jump up and down and are able to sing beautifully at the same time? Beyonce was smart not to take a chance on ruining her voice at the cold weather in Washington. All musical films are also pre-recorded. We finally had someone who could sing the National Anthem and not other people who have screwed it up. Shame on you to try to bring Beyonce down.

This comment is for Carol on CNN Newsroom. I watch CNN all the time and I was very disgusted on how you went on and on that you were disappointed that Beyonce didn't sing live at the inauguration. You and I are not singers, so we don't know the issues surrounding her decision to sing with a track. I understand that she wanted it to be perfect for the President, besides the inauguration also was not live because it was autually done the day before. I wonder if you would be sooo upset if it were Katy Perry or Brittney up there(whom we know can't sing). I've lost a lot of respect for you!

The real issue isn't Beyonce. She is a genuine talent. The entertainment industry is a different animal in 2013. Producers and the stubborn record labels of old insist upon perfection. Perfection is not indicative of the human condition, nor is it necessary to produce a quality live music product. The entertainment industry and many contemporary music producers need to understand that today's audiences want 'live music.' Listeners understand that live music isn't perfect, that's the beauty of it. Put a talent out front, let them perform without crutches and witness art in its purest form. If a singer's product is acappella (without accompanying instrumentation) its easy to recognize real talent. Today's audiences need to understand that many industry singer's voices are doctored with state-of-the-art computer software. These singers will only perform live with electronic/computer software support. Electronic equipment like drums or microphone enhanced drums do not reflect actual talent of the performer. Make a drummer drum on an acoustic drumset with no electronic assistance and you'll instantly know who the real drummers are. Drummer percussionist, Robert F. 'Bobby' Rodriguez, of Manhattan, KS; Denver, CO has challenged Justin Bieber to an acoustic drumoff; Justin's producers continue to decline. I wonder why. If you haven't heard a singer accappella or a drummer perform on an acoustic drumset, you should be suspicious. I know that's a huge disappointment to fans but its the undisclosed truth.

I'm gonna see her on May 22nd. She will come to Munich, Germany. I think she's one of the most talented singers in the world and she beautiful too.
Her performence at the 47th SuperBowl was amazing. And hot😉
