Ms. Rose was one of the most mature and level-headed individuals I have heard comment on this subject-speaking specifically about the personal choice necessary for the decision. I have watched my Mom endure 3 surgeries and related treatments spanning 20 years for both Breast and Uterine cancers. She is thankfully now turning 78 and still going strong and is an amazing survivor. I think she would have opted for the double Mastectomy 20 years ago had she had the information available today. Kudos to Ms. Rose for using the Pageant platform to spread the word-I am proud and impressed and now a huge Fan of Ms. Rose!
