CNN's Fredricka Whitfield talks with the "Legal Guys" about the George Zimmerman trial.
On Don Lemon's show today he said (as did the crawler) that George Zimmerman continued to follow Trayvon Martin after he was told not to. This is the prosecution's position, the defense disagrees with this and states that Zimmerman was returning to his truck. It is extremely irresponsible to state something as fact when the legal case is still in progress. The use of the crawler is especially irresponsible as it goes further than the supposition that the statement was Mr. Lemon's opinion (bad enough for a media figure) to present the statement as fact by CNN. This is inappropriate journalism and CNN should apologize to its viewers. Mr. Zimmerman is entitled to a fair trial and CNN has violated the sanctity of the justice system and has exposed itself to legal reparations.
Well said and this has been the case throughout this trial, I can hardly believe my ears. It makes you wonder what is being done with international news. I can give a little insight as Egyptian news does not match what we report. It appears as though those reporting the news feel they are able to change the outcome of the trial by injecting what they FEEL or THINK rather than the facts...shamful..
Check the gun out that Zimmerman had. It was a "9" and had to be loaded before use...Zimmerman loaded it in his car and followed the victim. He was told by the police not to follow the victim that they (POLICE) would be there to check out the victim. Zimmerman took his gun and follower the victim, and used the gun.
A Prayer For Justice
Thank You for being God and the giver of life.
You are awesome and splendor in all your ways.
Right now we cry out for Freedom and Justice in this world.
We want to be free to walk the streets of this nation without having to be worried about whether we will be profiled or singled out because of our race or someone’s sick and prejudicial belief about who we are.
We want justice on our side when we are wrongly accused, beaten, and gunned down for no reason at all. Let there be fairness and balance in how we interpret and apply the laws of this land.
Let not the complexity, obtuseness, and confusion of our laws and legal system be an escape route where the guilty can walk free and the victims are stricken with grief.
Let truth, freedom, and justice be everyone’s right and portion regardless of their race, cultural heritage, or economic status.
Finally, let us learn to live as one nation and not divided by race, creed or economic status.
We ask these prayers in Jesus name Amen.
