Thank you for trying to start a serious conversation about mental illness in our society. Of course such a complex issue can't all be covered in an hour, but Brooke Baldwin did her best. Her compassion was there, so, that's a good start. It's just too bad though, that we don't really talk about some of the most vulnerable in our society until they begin killing others. Most of the time the killing is directed inward resulting in suicide.

Wow, CNN is taking this talk to far about violence and mental illness. You bring someone on like Dr. Jeffrey Lieberman who has a particular interest in advancing his own agenda and consistently stigmatizes mental illness by stating that people with mental illness are the cause of gun violence and now males are overrepresented in this category. This is going to back fire on CNN. I am surprised at Dr. Drew for having a conversation and allowing someone who has never treated these individuals to speculate that they have a mental illness. We all know that the majority of these mass killings have been pre-meditated and don't involve psychosis or mental illness. The only one to date is the Washington DC shooter.
