It's nice to see good news reported also. I'm sure that whatever that airline spent in gifts will more than pay for itself with a gain in new passengers that never flew with them before.
Love this company and was proud to be a WestJetter for 4 years. This is not a "gimmick" but part of the culture that is WestJet. And you should correct your headline as the company name is spelt WestJet (one word, two capitals) and not Canadian Airline West Jet (there was an airline called Canadian Airlines but it folded over a decade ago).
I am so proud to be a part of this company...marketing scheme....maybe... But we do things everyday to change the lives of people...great company to work for and to be associated with and I love going to work each and every day!!!!! Thanks you westjet for allowing me to have you in my life....
Next time ANYONE asks me what i want for Christmas, I will keep saying "Tesla Model S".
