Our Sheriff has not "banned" A&E from our county, does not have the authority to do so and would never do so. He has, as the elected person in charge of our Sheriff's Department, determined that he no longer will allow A&E to be part of the STRAIGHT PROGRAM, one of many of the proactive, volunteer programs organized by or with our Sheriff's Department to try to make a positive difference in the lives of fellow human beings. When the basic premise of the report or the questioning is not accurate, the end result is always inaccurate.
