Criticism of Kerry grows in Israel

Intense criticism over John Kerry's latest cease-fire plan. He's really hearing it from U.S. ally Israel. "Kerry ruined everything." That's from an Israeli columnist writing yesterday about the Secretary's standing a cease-fire plan. Brooke Baldwin talks to Washington Post's David Ignatius about Kerry's latest bid to secure a cease-fire with Hamas.

I've been watching the news covering by Brooke Baldwin on the Israel Hamas conflict (No a Palestine's war) is obvious she's very Hamas sympathizer? Idk... she's constantly emphasizing the Palestine/Hamas teen that got beat up by the Israelite police by been in the wrong place doing the wrong things.... Well, Brooke what about the Israelite's youths that were kidnap and killed by Hamas/Palestine people, have you try to interview their families? Have you tried to bring that to people's attention the same way you have doing the Palestine teen case? Reporters like you are the one creating an unbalance justice and lack of sympathy from other countries toward Israel. Well reporter, I got news for you.. I know you can read so, read the Bible Jews will not be eliminated, not by Hamas or Palestine or News cast like yours...

I commend you as a journalist for your impartial and factual reporting of the events that are taking place in Gaza. While reporters on FOX, NBC, CBS, NY Times, WSJ, and Washington Post (etc) continue to report sound bites as mandated by their news organization, with the backing of special interest groups and lobbyists, you have stood out as a journalist focused on getting the facts, and letting people hear both sides of a very complex and sensitive issue impacting the world. For those who are interested in exploiting the news to channel their propaganda, they have multiple news organizations at their service. Equally, for those interested in hearing what they already believe to be the truth, they also have the other news channels to rely on to remain ignorant.
But for the average person on the ground, who wants to hear the real news, the facts, the human stories that matter and impact our minds and our hearts, for that we need real journalist, and you have proven to be one of the few who is true to your profession. It’s good to see that finally CNN is bringing on real reporters, who remain objective, and tell the news by challenging and cutting through political sound bites, to get the story. If CNN wants to compete with Al-Jazeera, Reuters, BBC, for a more sophisticated and global minded audience, they should hire more stellar reporter like yourself.

Yeah Herivan, except for the fact that it was noted Hamas had nothing to do with the kidnappings of the Israeli boys, and that they were murdered right when they were kidnapped and Israel kept it from the public as to create more and more public bitterness towards Hamas for his own gain. Maybe read more?

Criticism of kerry is growing in Israel, America and around the world as is criticism of obama and his administration. The unfortunate thing is that all the criticism is valid and deserved.

Israeli Atrocity and war crime act against humanity. The holocaust is happening in the Gaza.
The root cause of the conflict is the illegal Israeli occupation and settlements against the international law and norm. The life long peace can be achieved only by the reversal of the Israeli illegal wrong doing of grabbing others people lands... The Israel deserves to live peacefully within the pre-1967 border defined by the United nations and international law.

Yeah, it stands out a mile – obvious Islamic fanatic.

And as for the Israelites, you may want to ease up on all the bible study.

It is treasonous for Americans to side with Israel when they criticize the US. Those who are more patriotic to Israel should move there – and the US taxpayers should stop funding all of them. Enough is enough.

"To put it bluntly, we expect better of the only mature democracy in the Middle East than the slaughter of innocents we have witnessed over the past fortnight."
    Indeed.

laurence bilfild md accuses a CNN reporter of "Anti Semitic pr." Has anyone else ever noticed that any comments that is less than total acceptance of Israeli Policy is described as antisemitic? This is as bad as the "Race Card" was when it was thrown about to diver attention from objective criticism. These people are narrow minded but quick to accuse others of bigotry. These are the truly biased individuals.

Israel has no business using the word "kidnap" to describe the capture of a soldier, which is exactly what enemy soldiers are supposed to do.

Every time Israel loses a soldier, they start throwing around the word "kidnap," and its insulting to everyone. I actually volunteered to join the IDF, and I've always been a supporter of Israel–but I really get tired of the sneaky vocabulary. I can't take the side of a bunch of sneaks.

Its like trying to scrounge support from a person or group by asking "Are Huesein (You saying) that Hamas "gang" shooting rockets are "raping" people of their lives? Well, clearly since some are children, that kind of makes them war-crime pedos who've been laden with al quinda problems."

Its just childish, insulting, and transparently manipulative. None of that is necessary. Just the fact that their shooting rockets at random people, and some who die are children is enough. I can get behind fighting that. I very quickly stop giving a shxt, though, when it comes at me with a bunch of transparent dishonesty as well.

Calling them "kidnappers" because they captured one of your soldiers is a lie and a sneaky bxtch mindgame.

    Grow up or shut up.
