Where did ISIS come from?? I am not an expert on religious history and the subject bores me, but for those of you who are interested in the subject, Google this.

[1] The Assyrians, [currently Turkey, Syria, & Iraq]
    [2] The Persians.[currently Iran]
[3] The Romans. [formerly Greeks who destroyed their own country, then conquered the world after building the Vatican]
[4] The Israelites who fled the Pharaohs of Egypt 3000 or 30,000 years ago and landed in Jerusalem

What if the two Americans that were killed while fighting in Syria wanted "out" of ISIS because it wasn't what they thought it was? Did they die in battle?

To Don Lemon. Tonight (9/3/14) you had an insightful discussion of radical Islam. Those pro and con seemed qualified and thoughtful in the discussion. However, you had one man a Dr. representing an organization with the name that began LEAP who said he had read the Quran three times. He said it was not a book of hate, but of peaceful teachings, etc. Totally false! I too have read the Quran. It has over 100 verses advocating death and torture to spread Islam. Typical of how to treat nonbelievers: "Visit their heads with fire and stones." The man was totally untruthful and you let him off like he finally came up with the final word on Islam and the Quran.

Well, to be honest, there's a lot in the OT that have equally violent passages about how to treat those conquered. The OT God and the Islamic Allah are very much alike.

"WE HAVE THE STRONGEST AND SMARTEST MILITARY IN THE WORLD!" "ISIS IS A RAG-TAG BUNCH!" WE ARE DECIMATING THEM AS WE SPEAK WITH OUR LATEST IN TECHNOLOGICAL WEAPONS OUR MILITARY HAS AT THEIR DISPOSAL. FROM SMART BOMBS TO G.P.S. GUIDED MISSILES! THERE IS NO NEED TO PUT ANYMORE BOOTS ON THE GROUND THAN WE ALREADY HAVE IN THE AREA. "HAVEN'T WE LEARNED THE LESSONS OF THE RECENT BUSH/CHENEY MISREPRESENTED & MISLEADING SELL JOB OF THE IRAQ WAR?
