I am sick of hearing support for the protesters of the Michael Brown shooting. Michael Brown was a drug using thief and thug. The evidence shows that the police officer did his job.

“Ferguson police released a video edited and then analyzed by themselves. In their incident report they say, “Brown turns away from the counter with another box of Swisher Sweet cigars and walks toward the exit door.”

The surveillance video [1:40] clearly shows Michael Brown put an open box of cigars on the counter just before Dorian Johnson placed the unopened box on the counter [01:03 – 1:06]. Moments later the store manager removed both boxes [1:12 – 1:13].

Unknown to Brown or Johnson, some pouches fell out of the “open” box when Brown returned it to the counter. When Brown noticed the pouches on the floor he stooped down twice trying to retrieve them. Were it not for the actions of the manager, Brown would have, in all likelihood, put these on the counter as well!

During this time – about eight seconds – the manager moved from behind the counter, passed by Brown and positioned himself in front of Brown attempting to block his exiting the store. Brown was startled by this confrontation when he stood up, pushed the manager out of his way and continued exiting the store, still holding the pouches in his right hand.

Less than two seconds lapse from the time Brown stood up startled by the manager’s presence – note the reflection in the glass at the back of the store which shows Brown push manager – and not eleven seconds police edited into the video to make the event appear much later and unprovoked by the manager!

As a Black American I want to say that police officers-white and BLACK racially profile Black citizens but I believe that the incidents with Mike Brown, Mr. Garner and the 12 year old I apologize because I should recall his name do not really involve race directly. I believe the real issue is Mental Heath and irrational behavior. all of these individuals behaved irrational and I believe the real answer to the problem lies in the lack of not only identification of mental illness but the fact that police officers are not properly educated or trained to deal wit mental illness or irrational behavior-regardless of race.
