Our society needs to change to prevent our youth to not only get recruited by ISIS, it needs to address our youth getting recruited by gangs. We also need to address the epidemic of suicides among our seniors and veterans alike.
As it is known by social studies, some people would rather be bad or attempt suicide and get noticed than to be ignored. Many people who are ignored stay at home for long periods of time alone. They start to deteriorate, and severe depression sets in and it begins a downward cycle in people's lives. They may wish for some type of human contact, yet gets none. This not only apply to our youth, it equally applies for seniors and veterans alike.
A simple phone call, a friendly text, may be all is needed. This communication should reach out and invite people to events. Thus this will replace ISIS and gangs strong hold to answer the problem of many being isolated and need connections. Schools, not to mention geriatric doctors and veteran hospitals, should begin a new project to reach people. This will help with depression and the feeling of isolation.
Pier students, seniors and veterans volunteers would call their own and invite them to all-inclusive events. Volunteers would definitely leave messages on individuals' answering machines to give encouraging messages. This would reach people for those who do not want any contact with the outside world and not answer the phone. Yet they still wish for some kind of contact with the outside world. The encouraging message will make people's day!
We must replace and answer the challenges of people being alone and wish any answer to belong. This program may help reduce the temptation to join ISIS or a gang or attempting suicides. It is not only a smart policy to do, it is a moral thing to do to serve those who are isolated and need attention.

I watch your noon day show. This week you had this lady who was a wife of an officer and a 20 yr. veteran on force. Let me say this: White and Blacks will never see the same. Whites will always play the role of he is an officer and so he is right. And, Blacks will not trust them much at all due to past and the feeling of slavery and the "Man" or "Master". The real point is they seem to forget when it comes to Blacks the Law and skip "Due Process" and the right to a fair trial until proven guilty. To them running is oh he is guilty and for us it is run for your life which is and has been the case for us. Child support is not a felony. And Mr. Scott not a felon so why the flee law came in the conversation is beyond me. And let a white person endure being tased several times for a period of minutes and then cashed, shot at 8 times in the ear and back and see if you won't think about running next time to hope to get away from these prisons of today by way of child support-the new slavery (I got you 25 yrs. free labor bit). And prison is now an industry and many privatized not subject to any government rules. So focus on Due Process and our amendment rights. The Policemen will have his day in court and due process and has been given that but, he took away Mr. Scott's right to due Process- a veteran and an American citizen not a felon. Think about it.

Law enforcement have to be held accountable for their actions. There is no excuse for them not being able to perform their duties without inflicting deadly force, they should be held accountable for their physical condition, they should be up to performing an arrest without causing bodily harm to a suspect all unions and groups interfering in law enforcement should be illegal. Mental health checks should be done on a quarterly basis. All officers accused of improper behavior should have to go before a board of inquiry separate from the department impartial review

this country needs to get smart about isel or whatever they are 15 yrs. this terrorist bs since 9-11 and 100 billion dollars joke, 25 billion to train idiots who run. what they need to do is what Truman did to end a war were fighting people who would not hesitate to destroy us. I for the life of me don't understand why this country doesn't end this, once and for all 20,000,000 tons of a low yeld bomb would end it quickly, maybe the radical muslims would take a hard look before messing with us, maybe one day we will elect a leader who will lead this country back to a time when being an American meant something ya think

PLEASE, ASK FREDRIKA WHITFIELD TO SHORTEN HER QUESTIONS! WE DON'T NEED TO SLOG THROUGH A PARAGRAPH OF REVIEWING WHAT'S JUST BEEN SAID, THEN SWIM THROUGH 3 OR 4 POSSIBLE OPTIONS TO FINALLY HEAR THE INTERVIEWEE. JUST ASK, "WHAT'S NEXT?" INSTEAD OF "WHAT'S NEXT?" FOLLOWED BY THE HISTORY OF THE MOMENT, THEN WHAT THE INTERVIEWEE HAS JUST SAID, FOLLOWED BY SEVERAL POSSIBLE OPTIONS. IT'S NOT YOUR TURN TO TALK IN PARAGRAPHS. WE WANT TO HEAR THE INTERVIEWEE. I SWITCHED CHANNELS THIS MORNING AFTER BEING BURIED IN FREDRIKA'S SHOWING OFF HER MOUTH.

Brooke-Very Devoted fan of yours. Please give all consideration to posing this question to all Republican Candidates. Regarding the non stop attacks waged on immigrants who enter the US illegally - "Who among you can say with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that you would not attempt the same thing, if you were unfortunate enough to be born into similar straights? If you were born into a war torn country, or a country run by murderous cartels, or a country where there was no opportunity to secure FT work so that you could provide for your family? Were you to have been born into the most wretched and desperate of situations, Would you DEFINITELY, WITHOUT QUESTION, "File the appropriate paperwork and wait for the process to run it's course for years--While your children continued to die from disease, malnutrition, murder, etc?"

II believe that they will attempt to refuse to answer this question by saying they, "don't deal with hypotheticals." But those cowardly refusals must not be accepted. They must be required to place themselves in the situation of these unfortunate "illegals"-and answer the question. (As I often tell my son-By mere luck, actually the Grace of God, we won the lottery-the birth lottery. We were born in the US. However, that does not mean there cannot be OTHER winners.) I sincerely believe that every one of these candidates' responses will be incredibly important to us, and will doubtless do much to whittle down this large field. PLEASE please consider posing this question. Thanks Brooke.

I would suggest that cnn stop glorifying these terrorists with stories about their youth, friendships, and trendy smiling pictures of them holding the Koran. you are making heros of them to a segment of society. don't make them more popular. do your part to keep them from becoming " martyrs".

Why aren't you so called journalists reporting on the Colorado police officer who is on trial for the rape of thirteen black women.Because you made sure for several weeks to report on the victims from the Cosby case.Or why don't you fact check Trump. You guys make sure that anything negative about Hillary is talked about for weeks. And she not trust worthy are you kidding.I thought for a brief minute that you all was at least fair.To only report what you want to a certain class of people is racist.

It was very nasty of Van Jones to accuse Donald Trump of "not being classy because he didn't mention that Jeb Bush suspended his race." First of all, Donald Trump could have been in route to the auditorium when Jeb Bush made his announcement minutes prior to Trump's victory speech. So, before Jones smears Donald Trump, he should first find out whether or not he was aware of Job"s announcement.

Donald Trump deserves respect for winning the South Carolina primary after the shocking statement by Pope Francis that could have destroyed him; plus remarks made by Barack Obama; followed by President Bush and his mother, First Lady Barbara Bush campaigned on behalf of Jeb Bush. (That didn't help him by the way) ...

Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio gave victory speeches as though they won. Perhaps they didn't get the memo that "THEY LOST." In fact, Cruz only won in Iowa because he STOLE votes from Dr. Carson. Truth is, Trump probably won Iowa.

Your guest Jeffrey Lord is speaking absolute nonsense. I attended the anti-Trump rally at Columbus Circle. This is not a protest of professional demonstrators. I am a 68 year-old NYC resident who came out to protest against the racist and xenophobic policies of Mr. Trump. Period. I am not a leftist. I am an independent voter. Mr. Lord does not deserve to be a comentator on CNN. What a disgrace! No follow- up questions, just let him talk and say whatever comes to mind because he is in Trump's camp.

CNN is a POS when it comes to news. 10,000 Syrians coming into the US and they deliberately push the Obama idiocy of they are just women and children and pose zero harm....

Welll you POS people here at CNN, EXPLAIN the Syrian Woman who less than 30 days in the US was placed in Amarillo,Texas traveled to Mexico to an ISIS Camp South of Juarez across the border from El Paso. The Syrian Woman was pulled over for Speeding in New Mexico first week of June when she arrived second week of May in the US. When the New Mexico Sheriff Deputy found that the Syrian Woman had no Drivers License and driving a Mexico registered SUV, searched the vehicle.

What was found? Plans and material to Blow up a Texas to California Gas Pipeline. FBI and Homeland Security stated back in June that they are not sure whom the woman was meet up with to carry out attacks against US targets.

The truth is that the Vetting process is broken and that the only thing that Obama stupidity is doing is asking questions without knowing exactly who these refugees are.

Refugees by definition are not immigrants. Refugees are temporarily displaced citizens of another country. It is time that the US government uphold the 1st priority item of their job. Protect the citizens of the US. That is something that Obama has failed Big Time and it is obvious he is clueless as to what it really means from the Highest office of the land.

Refugees could have been taken to Howard Island in the Pacific for 2-3 years then return them back to the region where they came from. Refugees are not immigrants nor do they wish to be. US should not be assume that Refugees want to be US citizens because all Terrorist acts on US soil after 9/11 have ties to Refugees allowed in to the US.

    That is a fact!
