Forrest Graves was an executive for a major corporation when he was laid off last Christmas. He has a wife and two daughters to support.

Here's how he turned a $600 investment into a growing business with clients around the world.

It's a city within a city. A massive 67-acre, 18-million-square-foot web of hotels, spas, a casino and so much more.

It's called CityCenter. And it officially opened for business last week on the Vegas Strip, creating much-needed jobs - thousands of them.

I recently caught up with some workers who took a gamble on CityCenter - and won.

Some 170,000 people applied for the 12,000 permament jobs at CityCenter.

But with Vegas tourism down 6% this year, and the convention business dropping by almost 1/3, it might be a while before there's a full return on the billion-dollar investment.

A major snowstorm has moved out of the Washington, DC area and is now socking New England. Three deaths in Virginia are blamed on the storm. Our Reynolds Wolf reports from Fredericksburg, Virginia this morning.
