some women do actually think that the other man will do things for them than the one's they have.
Its good and bad, its great that people are finally doing what makes them happy, its a sad sorry testament to society which made these individuals make choices that werent right for them personally not to make waves, shame the family name, fit in at office parties.
I took the high road, i promised myself and society i would not bring a woman or children to what i knew would be ongoing need and desire to be gay.... true i could have acted straight and made a radical christian somewhere happy but i would have been miserable and brough others into a life of deception, and ultimate hurt. Just remember you have to reach back to the PRE christian sections of the bible to find strong admonitions against homosexuallity right there next to the requirement that extra marital affairs and pre marital affairs be punished by public stoning too!!!

How many times are you going to re-run the Obama dog story?
That is old news, and you just continue to re-run it. Is there any
other news in this big wide world? It seems you pick a few stories
each day and rerun them over and over. If you watch one hour, you
have all the news you are offering. It is pretty sad for such a good
new channel.
We can't choose who we're attracted to, only what to do about it. If more women are able to make "alternative" choices, that's a good thing. How could living honestly be anything other than a good thing?
I think it's sad that men don't seem to be sharing in this freedom. Honestly, I think the majority of American men are so emotionally repressed and crippled that they simply aren't capable of introspection or open, honest relationships with anyone, not even with themselves.
I've lived with another women for 10 years now, and I'm 63. Important tip: This isn't really about sex, it's about intimate, honest relationships. Focusing on sex obscures the real issue.
I think now that society has come to accept the gay community, men and women no longer fear coming out of the closet and being who they really are. As for as Hollywood goes some stars don't know what team they belong on and keep switching back and forth. While others stars who are more mature, enjoy their homosexuality and live a happy life.
I watch CNN everyday and there have been comments on health insurance frequently. However, the costs of insurance for those with pre-existing conditions have been understated. Today, I pay $531 for Cobra. Begining February 2010, I will have to join a high risk pool in Texas. When I planned my retirement, that insurance was $500 per month. Today, it is $1,000 per month. I'm sure there are many others in the same situation. If Obama doesn't address this situation as promised, what are people like myself to do?

I've been married 5 times..I've learned the deficiencies in my marriages were not due to any one or even any number of issues, but with the 2 of us..given that each of my ex's have NOT been remarried as often as me.. I'd say numbers speak pretty loud..Still, I'm not ready to bat for the other side, because not matter who you're with, relationship issues will exist if stubborn personal issues are not addressed..changing sexes only changes names, not the empirical personality of an individual-male or female..And Tony, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MEN...PERIOD..YOU INCLUDED..SO CUTE..
I think women focus so much on being independent and rely on themselves or on their girl friends throughout life (during times of being single, break ups, family troubles, etc) that by the time they think they're finally given up on men after so many failed relationships, they see their best friends more like their soul mate than any man could be. But as I've talk to my best friends about, we get sad when one of us gets a boyfriend and isn't around as much, but thats the way life is. we're not meant to be with our best friends all out lives. we're meant to be with our other half, our soul mate, not the best friend that seems like our twin or a carbon copy of us because we're so alike.

We all know that we don't choose our parents but I think the reason why women and men make these choices because they didn't get enough love from their parents when they were young. I believe that Yes you can Blame women for leaving men for women. First of all God created ADAM AND EVEN NOT ADAM AND STEVE. If all women on this planet start leaving men for other women in about hundred years the women population would die out. Most important this whole world would go upside down knowing that bringing children to this world is happiness. So for women that leave men for other women they should not ruin the mortals of our society and be normal.
Men truly are from Mars and women from Venus. The similarity in thought processes amongst women is almost certainly a contributing factor. I'm a married heterosexual woman - 18 years married. It still fascinates me how differently me and my spouse can see the same situation. Truly amazing. While I don't sanction same sex "marriage," I think same sex couples should be able to have the benefits afforded by civil unions - like health coverage, insurable interests, etc. Life is short - get love where you can.
It's only the smart ones leaving their men. Therefore, the percentages will keep the conservatives happy, and they've got Miss Prejean, too.
We legalized same sex marriages! what did you think was going to happen? and the media play a big part in this too, now it's cool to be a bisexual, as you already know people love trying new things.
It's totally sad that Women are actually leaving Men for Women. I find that most women that are involved with women face the same exact situations they would face if they were dating a man. The alternative life is just another indication that the World is becoming more and more immorally bankrupt. Man is the only species that was created to make intelligent decisions. What is even physically correct in a women dating a women or a man dating a man.
Kudos to them! If the men treated them like they should with the respect the women deserves the men would be able to keep the women in their lives.

Generally as men get older, they still haven't dealt with their issues or ego. They can be quite shallow at times. These women are looking for true intimacy & strength of character. Men with these qualities are getting harder to find.
IM tired of it,but its men fault they dont treat women right anymore.They dont listen and they only care about satisfying themselves.I hate it most when the women dont want a period.Because behind every good man,there's a great woman.
I'm 62y/o female with 8 grandaughters and 12 grandsons and I am notorientating my grandgirls to think that it is okay to involved with another female vs a relationship eit a male. I think our society is going too far with this same sex marriages and relationships. I have friends female and male that are intimate and appropriate heterosexual. The netsworks ran same sex marriages on tv that my 5y/o grandaughter asked me nana did you see those two ladies kissing like that. It was one of the hardest explanations that I had to give to a child HER INSTINCTS MADE HER FEEL THAT IT WAS SOMETHING WRONG.

It amazes me as to what people think is natural and what some thinks or additives. Doctors will tell you things that or natural and organic is better for the body and healthy. Things that have additives and that or unatural to the body can be detrimental to our health. Why can't people see that our sexual orintations will not only affect them, but the natural balance of life as we know it. We the people are causing a global epidimic not only against the natural balance of a green earth but all so for those children that will never be born because people feel that they only have to do what feels good them because it's their life, but we all are connected weather we like it or not and there is a cause to our problems and an affect is following the choices we make. Look at our economy that started with one greedy corporation and it has caused a global affect beyond great perportions. Woman marring woman, men marring men, there is an epidimic about to happen that will change the lives of those who choose to live that way. People say others should not be concerned about what they do but I say I AM MY BROTHER KEEPER! No matter what the media says, man says, rebellions says. We are all connected and we all suffer consequences by the choices we make.

I think that we are become more aware and more accepting of sexual orientation and gender expression. That is absolutely wonderful. Many people MALE AND FEMALE are attracted to both sexes and have not been able to express themselves openly. They have had secret relationships or failed to act on their attraction out of fear. When celebrities reflect what is becoming normalized it stirs some controversy... no harm in that.
The article said "studies indicate that it's more prevalent in women than in men, according to Bonnie Zylbergold, " I don't think that is a statement one can make without extensive research. While things are changing for the GLBT community as a whole, it is still more socially acceptable to be a bisexual woman or lesbian than it is to be a bisexual or gay man. People who are transgender are not even completely accepted in the gay community so we have a long way to go. Bisexual women are just more "out" because it is safer for them to be. I just hope they recognize this and advocate for the rest of the community.

The ending of herterosexural marriages for women of my age presents a new opportunity to consider a lesbian lifestyle. There are simply not enough men to go around when one is 60 or 70; by then the ones that are available are pretty ditsy. The fact that such an alternative lifestye is more socially acceptable than for previous generations provides even more incentive.
I've been married for over 40 years, and I love him dearly; however, staying in this marriage has been the hardest thing I have ever done, and it occurs to me that one major problem has been that he's a man and I'm a woman.

I have to agree with one blogger comment and that is there is and has been for years an attack on men. The rise of the feminists movement and N.O.W. There is nothing wrong with equal rights but there is something wrong with one sex superior to the other and homosexuality. No where is this found favorable by GOD in any "religion".
Another comment is where some women have said that they have reached the age where they don't believe there's "not enough men to go around" at 60-70 years of age. That's sick, at 60-70 years you should be focusing on living the value of the rest of your days on earth not lesbianism. What ever happened to good old friendship?
I will also say this, one very, very, very important fact and lesson of life that we as men should know and get acquainted with. That's what Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "Heaven lies at the feet of woman". If men would witness their children born, see your woman there in that condition, you would learn to look at her in new light and life. We can not no longer push our women, our Heaven on earth to the arms of another rather it be man or woman.
This knowledge is Supreme Wisdom given by Almighty GOD so we could live together in peace.
Trust me, I will never "jump the fence" to the other side, I have always been into men & will just remain celibate & eventually will end up living with a couple of girlfriends as I get older.
Here's a little history on what is "out there" now as far as men go~
I haven't dated in over 4 yrs, joined a couple of on-line dating services, have put myself out there, went outside my comfort zone, slept with a guy that I liked, thought we may have a possible relationship, future together, realized he had major issues & then found out he gave me my first STD, -–LOVELY! It's the one all the young girls are getting now, HPV, transmitted even WITH a condom. I am trying to remain optimistic, but I feel like I have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding a nice, normal, funny, decent man. Like I said, celibate seems way easier...I have great girlfriends that are smart, attractive, funny all in their 50's, have been married, had the kids & are pretty much over having to deal with men. Women truly do become better with age, much more independent & men become much more needy & shallow. Looking at most mens profiles, many state that they are very handsome, I want to write back, "Seriously, by whom, your Mother??" Most of them are delusional- I could go on & on~but, why bother, enough said.
