Re: Vice-President Biden's comments yesterday, if I remember right...the question put to him was talking about travel to Mexico.
I keep hearing the news anchors saying that VP Biden was talking about not flying anywhere...
But back up and listen to the question that was asked to him before he said that.

I stopped watching CNN, mostly to watch Keith and Rachel...but I always did enjoy your show Don, and watched you all the time during the campaign and convention.
But don't be paranoid about this flu...if you get it, you get help for it...but to live your life afraid of it, I don't understand that...
About what VP Biden said...he was asked "if it was a member of your family, what would you advise them"? I completely understood his response...heck yeah, if you are showing symptoms, even tho he didn't use those exact words, I KNEW what he meant, don't fly, don't use the subway if you have any other means of transportation"...IF you think you have any of the symptoms..I didn't think anyone had to state each and every word to be understood...but today's media is determined to make Biden AND Obama look silly or dumb....it can't be done...I don't see Biden as saying stupid things...he is honest....gosh, why is that wrong?

I would have stuck with the bottled water rather than iced tea like the guy at the head of the table...swine flu.

Your work is exceptional. Thank you for all the work you do to inform us. Please, everyone, leave Joe Biden alone about the flying issue. He was just being honest! We always say we want our politicians to be honest and when they are... then we chastise them for it. Good Grief! Leave the guy alone.
I often make 13 to 15 hour flights to Asia. The aircraft is a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria. About 1 every 3 times, I am sure I catch the flu or a bad cold from someone sitting near me who is sick. I can usually gauge the time as I start experiencing the symptoms within 48 hours from contact. I currently have a ticket to Shanghai and I am thinking of canceling it. Thank you CNN for allowing me to Chime in with my 2 cents worth!

I would like to suggest a story on how banks force homeowners into foreclosures and shortsales by not working with them. The kicker is that even after a person completes a shortsale, s/he is harassed to pay the balance of the mortgage leftover from a shortsale. If the person had the money, s/he wouldn't be in the situation. This forces individuals into bankruptcy, which they were trying to avoid. I am one of those individuals and my sister and her husband are also in that situation. So are many other former homeowners. This is something that needs to be brought to the forefront of our nation's conversation. I've already contacted my state and federal representatives. We need a voice about this.

Regarding Palins daughter and her dint have sex public positions. She is the perfetc person to make coments on teen sex since she has gone through it and is speaking from experiance.The teen target age group on this topic would be sooner reached by her than by others that are just preacing and are not teen themselfs and have not had a child at such early age.She is a perfect speeker for the subject.
Her first message was true but not focused on teen pregnancy but she seem to be talking about teen sex,here not to be misunderstood she is speeking about teen pregnancy.Excellent question Mr.Don L since i was brought into to the world by a mother of 18yrs of age.
there is one way where cnn is much like fox and all the others news programs.. big revenues from Big Pharma means they are protected from any real questions. So a few dozen has died from the flu. .major pandemic eh? The 4th leading cause of death in the US is from "propertly prescribed FDA approved pharmaceuticals" .. over 200,000 each year and some believe that's only 1/10th the real number .. yet not a peep from you all . .hmmmm. (what you didn't know that? why?) and they include as many kids as possible for "kids just being kids". If they would change their diet and add some exercize .. no more drugs would be needed. . not they they were needed in the first place. These drugs are legalized speed. What ever happened to "just say no". Well if the parents do, their kids are expelled or social services are called. One of the declaration of Indep signer was quoted that we need to add the freedom of medical choice to the constitution or else. . (look it up why don't you?). Why don't you all actually act like journalist anymore .. you only report what you're told do. It's sad really. Nothing to comment on; GMO, the lack of labeling, Monsanto.. nothing ? Really? I feel like I should do that sketch on SNL. . "Really??!!" Nothing to say here, really? Please somebody grow some out there in Atlanta.
And I notice you use the same medical "experts" everytime .. never anyone that cures cancer every day with natural means ..and if you do put someone on there you rip em to schreds .. again, follow the money and who is paying for your position at cnn or any other network. Before you pass judgement on the issue about the young man who is receiving a scholarship to attend college now but was part of a rape situation at age 13, you need to investigate the criteria for many other scholarships. It is my understanding that some colleges are offering free tuition/ education to urban students as long as they graduate with a C or C+ GPA regardless of income level. What about the numerous scholarships being given to numerous students by private organizations, business... that target particular ethnic or cultural groups? Do they all screen for a student's juvenile record and should they? Maybe that isn't the point at age 18 when incidences occur at a much younger age. My family has spent over 90,000 for college educations of our 2 children and still have 2 years to pay–without free money. Both children graduated with GPAs over 3.0 from a highly- competitive school district. My husband and I graduated from college; our parents did not qualify for any free money as blue-collar workers with one parent working. I have seen students receive multiple local scholarships along side a "full ride" to a prestigious college. I say, back off the criticism about the young man's rape issue until you are ready to see how the free money is distributed to others, some perhaps with equally- erred pasts or worse. I fear that there is much inequality in the availability of money for college. We were penalized because we have worked too hard, saved money for college instead of buying excess items, did not spend money on vacations, cars, $100 shoes, and now because we live in a suburb. I guess we didn't learn how to buck the system!
he President's speech at Normandy commemorating the 65th anniversary of D-Day was the greatest speech I have ever heard and probably will hear if I live to be 110. He was just superb and brought tears to my eyes more than once. He is here for OUR moment for OUR time and we are TRULY TRULY blessed!
He gave more than inspiring words. He gave a masterpiece. I have no words to describe THOSE words except to say that I am so fortunate that in my time in my era that I was alive to see and hear what he said. He was simply wonderful!!
