Impact of Souter's Retirement

Supreme Court Justice David Souter is leaving the bench in June. The possibility of replacing a justice was a hot campaign topic. And one President Barack Obama often spoke of.

Now that campaign promise is a political reality. So how will this play out? Fredricka Whitfield spoke with a law professor at Pepperdine University on how this will play out.

Today we visited one of Ethiopia’s poorest Arab neighborhoods, where the US military is rolling out new efforts to eradicate extremism.   As CNN's Barbara Starr reported, instead of going into battle with guns or artillery, they're providing the children with new classrooms and opportunities.
