We just wanted to inform you that there has been 24 suspected cases of H1N1 in Laredo, Tx. The reason why we are so alarmed is because it went from 1 possible case to 24 possible cases overnight. In addition, all schools in the city have been shut down for two weeks for precautions. City officials have not confirmed any cases but they can never keep their stories straight. The 24 cases have been sent to Austin for further testing. Many residents of Laredo are worried that city officials are keeping information from the public.

CNN is walking the top of the fence on H1N1 flu...working it for the huge news story it is...and trying to raise the possibility that it may be more hype and hysteria than heat and Hell. You are not doing well with one facet of the story....
for years..and currently on at least one of your recent programs..some airlines have been criticized for totally recirculating cabin air to save money..and others have been lauded for circulating fresh air
yet on others of your programs, current guests cite the cabin fresh air system as a reason it's safe to fly.

Which is true? what airlines are taking the cheap way out? which are doing the right thing? i've flown enough to feel the difference when floating flu germs were not an issue.

I just want to inform you:

I called 9 pharmacies, 3 hospitals and talked to my MD. NO ONE HAS TAMIFLU AVAILABLE. It is all back ordered. I work for a southern California County Health Care Agency and they do NOT have Tamiful nor face masks with N95 respirators. Its seems NO ONE is prepared.

I almost died from the Hong Kong Flu and have immune system problems. I have had flu symptoms for this week. Today 102 degree fever. This seems like regular flu; however, I am very aware of my vulnerability and NOT Happy about how unprepared we are!

Betty and TJ, please hold down the hype on any J. Ventura reporting until local MN constituents are polled. Those of us living with the results of his policies may well feel horrified at any national exposure.

Welcome! I gave up trying to get it thurogh my doctors office, they had such limited supplies. I contacted my county Health Dept., and at first they were giving it to the target group those 18 yrs of age and under. Then last week they announced those over 18 with a chronic health condition (I have asthma). I get my shot tomorrow at 2:30 and am so relieved! Did you google your county health department? All the ones I've seen have up to date information on who they're giving it to and when. Good luck!
