Hiding Assets From IRS

Today President Barack Obama is expected to announce a crackdown on companies and individuals who use international bank accounts to hide profits from the IRS. The goal is to close loopholes for overseas tax havens and end tax incentives for creating jobs overseas. Kyra is interviewing Vice President Biden't chief economic advisor Jared Bernstein about this in the 1pm hour.

It is stunning to learn that 83 of 100 companies by not paying US taxes have not contributed to the DEFENSE of our country. Ultimately, they are traitors.

I have been trying for months to get someone to ask this question to the President. Why is it I can write down the intrest on my home equity loan nut people that do not own homes can;t write down the intrest on the charge cards that many are using to live off of on there income tax? Would it not be fare to do one or the other? But really many people just don;t own a home and are hurting. I see them charging there grocerys all the time. Thank you

It's amazing to me that "big companies" are trying to make the case that violating federal law (by not paying taxes due) is acceptable! I see no debate here! I pay my taxes, and so should everyone.

Politicians would do well to note: while both citizens and businesses pay taxes, only citizens can vote!

*crosses fingers and hopes this will help and not hurt the economy!*

It would be nice to see more American companies move back on shore! But its always so easy for them to find the one way that they can benefit and we all lose!
