    Rick Sanchez:

The reason people think Obama is trying to do too much is because they got used to the previous Prez who was either on vacation or asleep most of the time

While funny unto itself, there's a failure in logic here. The women who want to marry a woman would not even DATE a man, let alone marry one. They would simply continue as they have for years, unmarried by the state but assuredly married in devotion, support, and love.

Colin, I do not think this was meant to be taken seriously.
Rita, that is your point of view but the "sleeping president" you are referring to lead us to the best economic times in a long time, then given certain democratic cheating presidents (clinton) the federal banks failed.

I gotta tell you, these gay activists sure need a lot to learn...if I can recommend something to them and say that why don't they use our constitutions rights to make their argument. I mean, that's the only way they are going to win and get improved cause if they use any kind of reference, that's it, is over! All I'm saying is when married couples no doubt have a higher ratio getting married to the opposite sex, the argument is gonna be tough. It is believed that straight couples outbid them by more than 10-1 so the numbers ain't good for them.

They gotta use the constitution, they can't use other reference. Even they know is their right, they know it. And no offense but if they keep making the same argument over and over again, they ain't going nowhere. They literally gotta use the constitution as many people have already in this country since the beginning.

They gotta use it, they have to! Maybe if they were smart enough and understood they would be more prepared and organized but since they always gotta be on defense and not so much on offense, they got no time to make progress. Cause if there's one thing that we can't question, is in fact their rights...conservatives can complain all they want but even they know they can't question that. And that's where you'll have your opportunity and try to make something our of nothing. Listen, I know there's activists out there who aren't too satisfied with some things BUT if they did in fact now history, they understand is on their side. And if they care about making progress, tell em to be patient, they will have their time. Conservatives are gonna deal with it sooner or later and to give em a heads up, is gonna come and your over 2,000 argument will be over...and for the record conservatives, we take offense and are offended with YOU talking about history and what this happened and so on, we really get offended. The problem with you people is that you don't want anybody else, want an example? Look at your boy Rush, he's an idiot and a moron and he's calling Sotomayor a racist? Well, to come and think about it, Rush does have a record for Hispanics so maybe he should watch what he says cause he's the one that's gonna cash checks for you GOP...

I gotta tell you Conservatives, you embarrassed us, you just don't get it, don't you? What is it that you don't understand? And by the way, you think we care if her nomination gets blocked or is not confirmed as expected? Ha!!!! You GOP are in fact in fantasy land, why do you think I haven't come here on the website to comment more than usual? Cause you guys are a joke and I'm tired of telling you so you're on your own and you think is funny, you think is funny not doing s-? You know, Conservatives got some balls to go and put words in people's mouth and if they wanna talk about activists...tell em, are they SURE they wanna go that far? As a matter of fact, last time I checked, I believe President Bush put 2 activists in his court you f-- ignorant f--!! Don't give me that s- GOP and conservatives, I know how you think, and quite frankly, you are embarrassing us and are giving us great shame GOP. You got some balls going that far and saying words like activist and so on, you got some f-- balls!!! For the record, just because we ain't here as much as often doesn't mean we aren't gonna pay attention, I told you already, we ain't the American people, you are f-- with the wrong people...

No offense to them but they doing this to themselves, that's why is a joke now and it makes us laugh over here. They are f--, they know it, and for the record, that's what they get...but you know what? "Now get up on the floor, cause we gonna boogie oggie oggie til you just can't boggy no more." LOL!!! As you can see, the party has started already here in the yard...

"There's no time to waste, let's get this show on the road...
Listen to the music and let your body float..."

I beleive its a sad time in California when last year they voted to allow gay marriage and now they say no. Make up your mind people but then again this is the state that cant even decide on a budget. I think its so sad that proposition 8 was not overturned, everyone should have the right to marry whoever they want, truly this country has not overcome and it offends me as a gay person. I hope they take this ammendment all the way to the Supreme Court. Equal rights for all

I can't believe we are still arguing about "Gay marriage". I watched Larry King last night and the pastor did not make any sense at all.

    Step 1...Man marries woman
Step 2..Gay man marries gay man
Step 3..Straight man marries straight man

What is good for one group is good for the other. Life long straight friends will want to marry for the rights afford to married couples and why not? Logic is logic regardless of the group it is applied. Once you open the "can of worms" you will never get them all back in the can. Our society can not and will not survive "minority rule" however, all can be passified by different levels of recognition if instituted with care and forethought.

In truth, Gay Marriage is not a decision for the Government, marriage is a religious ceremony, so seperate church and state.
I believe gays should have legal rights as couples because without them they can be denied too many rights according to law like a partners pensions, health care etc. so big corporations benefit by judgement. To me that's wrong.
I'm not gay I personally don't think gays should have a legal right to marry but I also don't believe I should have the right to negatively affect anothers life because of my beliefs.
I'm also not religious but I believe each religious group has the right to decide if they allow the ceremony.
I'm what I call a Lou Dobbs Independent right wing conservative so maybe we should come up with a new term for gay marriage and a new church to honor the ceremony one that will allow everyone to accept the inevitable without shoving it down anyones throat.

    Just a thought...
