The U.S. military is launching a new effort online. As the CNN Wire reports, the military is taking its Afghanistan mission to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. It’s the “first-ever effort by the military in Afghanistan to engage nontraditional audiences directly with news, videos, pictures and other information from Operation Enduring Freedom,” the military says. In our 9am ET hour, our Josh Levs will give us a virtual tour of these new sites – including a video contest for members of the military called “Afghanistan Matters.”
