It's Sunday morning in the CNN Newsroom

It's become a weekend tradition. I can't seem to get started without first burning my tongue on hot grits from the CNN Diner.

Now I'm ready.

Ahead this morning in the CNN Newsroom... An update on the Air France flight that went missing six days ago - what searchers have found from covering an area of the Atlantic roughly the size of Nebraska.

Critical elections have begun in Lebanon that could hand control of that country's parliament over to the militant group Hezbollah. We'll have a report from Beirut.

The Environmental Protection Agency has launched a study of air quality in the nation's schools. Betty Nguyen interviews the EPA's director.

And Hurricane Ike roared ashore in Texas last September. Guess what's happening now, nine months later?

Join TJ Holmes, Betty Nguyen and Reynolds Wolf in the CNN Newsroom, beginning 6am ET/3am PT.

An interesting fact about D-Day is that it was so bloody that the Navy said that nearly all of the film taken was accidentaly dropped over board as they were being carried up the steps of a ship that was returning to England.

Why is gas going up so much, does the Obama admininstration realize that they will destroy any recovery that might be taking place with higher fuel costs! Any recovery will go right into the hands of the biggest profit earners this country has ever known! We need to badly nationalize the oil industry because if ever one commodity that can destroy our economy its the oil industry!

another issue that has been burning me up lately and thats this country and its association with law enforcement! Law enforcement has become a rogue institute of law breakers and common criminals! When are we as a nation going to address this problem? How can we allow police to be the ones in control when they are so out of control? Corruption has been a part of law enforcement every since it was set up in this country but we have to stop it! Our society depends on fair, honest, and within the law cops! Its time we clean up law enforement everywhere in this country!

Why has the Recovery and Reinvestment Act become the bailout Mexico Act? As I travel I have noticed lots of construction on our roads starting up this summer. But as I noticed a little closer most of the workers I have seen have either been documented migrant workers or just plain illegal migrant workers. This country and its citizens were promised by President Obama that he would put 5 milllion new people back to work, he said nothing of putting Mexico back to work! When will Mexico take responsibility in runnning there own country and not need the billions every year from us either in just plain free giveaways or their workers coming over here to take American jobs!
