Boy, 5, in Traffic Class

With all the major stories and breaking news we bring you each weekend, we can’t get to all of the news stories, features, and quirky video that we’d love to show you. So our Josh Levs has a new task on top of his other duties: exploring CNN affiliates each weekend and giving viewers a taste of what’s out there.

Sunday, he introduced us to the first African-American female rabbi, a 5-year-old boy sentenced to traffic school, (for real!), and the ultimate sandcastle competition in Galveston, Texas.

For more from our affiliates, check out CNN.com/U.S.

And join Josh Levs, Betty Nguyen, TJ Holmes and Reynolds Wolf weekend mornings in the CNN Newsroom beginning 6am ET/3am PT.

@ the 5 year old, i hope the "lecture and class room material" is scaled down to a 5th grade reading level...i don't even want to think about the "practical" exam on the road...

I was driving down the road and my son took his seat belt off and I looked up in the mirror and said put it back on and there was a cop behind me and he pulled me over. It happened fast. There was no time to pull over and get it back on. And of the course the cop didn't believe me.

I never thought much of his acting abilities, and now I think even less of his attitude toward this great country.

I challenge this mal-content to show the USA where the previous administration did better.

In case you forgot Mr. Voight, We never did fid those WMD's, and Tricky Dick Cheney himself recently admitted that Saddam Hussien had nothing to do with 911. So what else is new Darth Vader?

As for the economy – I think this mess started on your party's shift. We cleaned up the first Bush's mess and we have to do the same for this one.

At least Bush 43 has the dignity to go quietly and not make the negative comments like you, Rush, Ticky Dick, Newt, Sarah Palin, etc...

So just keep your 20% of registered voters and we will keep the 80% that want the country to really work for all.. I doubt the GOP will be able to win a local PTA campaign in a few years.
