When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade.
When a couple of Florida women lost their jobs they made bracelets with a simple message: I need a job.
We thought they'd be good candidates for our 30 Second Pitch but it turns out being out of work has turned into a full-time job for them.
Watch CNN affilate WBBH's Anne Imanuel's story and find out more about the bracelets by clicking here.
Kyra: I don't know what has come over you – but your language expressions are becoming vulgar and crude. Please lose such expressions as "hosed" "hell" "crap", etc. I'm sure you have a richer vocabulary than was exhibited this morning. If you are a big sister, would you want a little sister to be listening?
Thanks for your consideration.
Hello Kyra,
I am a single parent who has raised a son. My son graduated from high school this year. He will attend a University in Texas. I have worked hard to assist him in making his dream materialize. I have taken the advise of President Barack Obama. I've taken the liberty of furthering my education by obtaining a degree in fashion design. However, I have not been able to obtain a job in my field of interest.
Although I am remaining optomistic that someone will assist me in accomplishing my dream. I would be mostly grateful if you would allow me to give a 30 second pitch on your network. Perhaps someone will see me and will grant me that "once in a lifetime opportunity".
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Lori Banks
