Troy Davis is Running Out of Time

From writer/producer Elberta McKnight:

Troy Davis remains on death row.

Waiting... wondering... If the highest court in the land will step in and hear his case after decades of hearings, recanted testimony and questions surrounding the murder of Georgia Police Officer Mark MacPhail.

Seven of nine of the prosecution's key witnesses have changed their testimony over the years.

Mark McPhail's mother Annaliese MacPhail says she is convinced Troy Davis is guilty.

This morning, Davis' sister and nephew spoke with our TJ Holmes.

Join TJ Holmes and Betty Nguyen weekend mornings in the CNN Newsroom, beginning 6am ET/3am PT.

Thank You Don Lemon for finally pointing out the fact that Micheal was on the bed when they were trying to revive him. I heard that the very first time they played the tape and I was like any idiot would know you can't do CPR on a bed. I just don't believe this doctor did all he could to save Micheal Jackson....And even the guy on the phone sounded kind of suspect to me. We will know the truth soon.

I hope the Jackson family treats the death of Michael as a homicide case. The doctor who gave him the medication that took his life should be prosecuted. And if the news reports are correct, a doctor should know to revive him, he should have been moved to a hard surface and not try to revive him on a bed.

I just watched the Jackson Family story on television, one of the things that stuck out in my mind is the segment that highlighted the victory tour where Michael made a statement referencing his family’s celebration of victory for making their dreams and achievements come true in a country where our ancestor came here as slaves.

While mourning Michaels' death I hope people understand just how difficult it is to be Black in America and still have to strive to be the best if not better than others just to have a portion of the American dream.
    Tears of sorrows,
    Cie

Is this what being black in America really mean? 7 people out of 9 recanted their testimony , what is the problem? I am sorry for the death of the officer and understand how mom feel. I lost a son to murder but what I understand is these witness stated they were coerced by police. Now someone need to be accountable for the death but be fair This is someone's life also.We know too many innocent people are on death row, so please consider the facts.
