Musical Message to the People of Iran: "We are One"

This man has one of YouTube's most popular videos. He's as big a star and John Legend and Beyonce – in Iran.

In case you missed it this weekend in the CNN Newsroom, you can find out now why Andy Madadian is so hot, Jon Bon Jovi wanted to record an R&B classic with him.

Madadian has called Bon Jovi's accent in Farsi "cute," comparing it to when Sophia Loren speaks English. He's also said Iranians just want to hear Americans say the words; they don't care about the accent.

Join TJ Holmes and Betty Nguyen weekend mornings in the CNN Newsroom, 6am ET/3am PT. Many thanks to Brooke Baldwin getting up so early for us this past weekend!

As an independent voter, I liked Sarah Palin because she spoke to the
people. Unlike most politicians who speak to each other and talk in
circles, she connected with us. Many people wonder why she did not
receive and support from femenist about many things; her running for
offfice, her child being pregrant at l8, etc. And what has been pointed
out many times, by the media, she had better credentials than Pres.
    Obama.

Having lived in Iran, I can only relate to my time spent there. I found Iranian people to be proud, intelligent, religous, and passionate I was treated well and had no problems living in their culture. I picked up their language and use it today. Too many people visit a foreign country and expect others to treat us as though they were in our country. My advice to Americans is to get to know the language of the country your are visiting and you will be able to communicate with them. It shows that you care, and that alone goes a long way. As they say in Iran, "dustah man shoma".
