Spike Lee in the House!

It was our distinct pleasure to have filmmaker Spike Lee drop by the CNN Newsroom this morning. He's in Atlanta for a 20th anniversary screening of his breakthrough film, "Do the Right Thing." TJ Holmes asked him about that, and whether President Obama really took Michelle to see it on their first date.

Join Betty Nguyen and TJ Holmes weekend mornings in the CNN Newsroom, 6am ET/3am PT.

TO Don Lemmon: About the minority children not being allowed to swim in the pool at Valley Club in Penn., there is one way the Club Owners can make this all right……and that would be to allow all these same children to come back and swim at the Valley Club pool for 2 hours a day for FREE for the rest of the summer.

If members of the club don’t like it, return their checks, and tell them you are not the type of member we want in Valley Club.

I have not heard the owner invite them back and to make them pay to use their pool is racist in itself. Do the right thing and invite them back with a good surrounding of open minded people, who live in the 21st Century, not is the 1800’s. Most important, appoligize to all of them.
