If having a Cash for Clunkers was so important for the economy, that plans are now being made for "Cash for non working appliances", I would steer from that offer. why?? just take a poll and see how many dealers are still waiting for the Clunker cash, I really have my doubts that the receiving of cash for your old appliance would be any faster. Maybe the delay was becaused the tax payers had to pay for Obama to go to Marthas Vinyard and he was just too da-n busy to sign that bill. Oh how sad our country is in such a turmoil, of course we can not put the blame on Obama, why?? I believe he said he would make changes, that he did!!!! Betty

So now the 'Cash for Clunkers' program has ended, it will be interesting to compare with Australia's approach – specifically the tax rebate for new machinery (including cars)
