Soldiering On

If you're a regular visitor to the Team Kyra blog, you probably know she's a big supporter of TAPS - a group that helps families of fallen U.S. troops.

Well, Kyra just heard about a song called "Soldier On"; the people behind it are donating half the song's proceeds to TAPS.

You can find more info on "Soldier On" right here.

I beleave that the government owes the families of falling solders the benefits that the warrior was due.

This is the third time I went to that site, the first time I bought the song and added a little extra but missed the download info. It was cheap so I went back to repurchase it but it says that it's sold out. It is stillcurrently listing the song as being sold out still

I thin that is great. I just wrote 2 songs for the armed forces and sent them to U.S. Armed Forces/Entertainment. I gave them the songs. Hopefully someone will do something with them. I don't want money or fame I just want the veterans and current service men and women and their families to enjoy these songs. Kyra, if you read this and want a copy of these songs email me and I will send them to you. Again I don't care if anyone knows anything about me. I have a cousin who is a Marine right now and much family who have served in the military. I just wish we could take care of the service men and women and let them know of our love and support.

    Kyra,

Loved the song but can't get it. States it is sold out. My only son Aiman Watson is in the Air Force and I worry every day of him having to go into battle. Some how the songs bring comfort and pain all at the same time.
Would love to have the song for my son.

Would love to hear the song and possibly download it to send to all my friends that served with me in Afghanistan. I am curious, you said to come to this site to download the song but you didn't say anything about a donation? Also, the link to download it here does not work.

The way I figure is that at $2.50 a download given the songwriter gets half of that then with studio costs if any only about maybe 2000 downloads and the songwriter is really starting to make alot of money from the blood of our soldiers. Interesting thought I thought I would share with everyone.
