Pionero: John "The Quiet Man" Ruiz

When heavyweight boxer John "The Quiet Man" Ruiz defeated defending champ Evander Holyfield in 2001, he became the first Hispanic to hold the WBA title. CNN's Don Lemon spoke with Ruiz about what it means to be a Latino pioneer.

    Boxing is not the only sport or venue that Latinos do. Latinos even have Astronauts today. The icons have changed a lot.
