Soldiering On

If you're a regular visitor to the Team Kyra blog, you probably know she's a big supporter of TAPS - a group that helps families of fallen U.S. troops.

Well, Kyra just heard about a song called "Soldier On"; the people behind it are donating half the song's proceeds to TAPS.

You can find more info on "Soldier On" right here.

    Kyra,

So veterans’ budgets have been held up 19 of the last 22 years. Given these numbers I’ll assume 22 years ago was the first time relative to the 22 years number you mention. Unemployment is at a 26 year high. To ensure transparency and genuine accountability shouldn’t we refer to these numbers as “since the Reagan Administration”? CNN names names for Obama et. al. (even though most of his problems were inherited from Bush 43) but as the major news organization of modern times it would be helpful to identify Republicans by names too. To do so would serve as a much more recognizable, fair, and equally applied historical reference point. Accountability and objectivity coming in the naming names format would significantly enhance your viewers’ ability to place information in a more relevant time sensitive context.
