On Sunday, Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden announced the “balloon boy” incident was a hoax. (Read the whole story here.) Charges haven’t been filed yet. But Alderden said he expects authorities to recommend felony charges including conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and attempting to influence a public servant.
