Getting through to Your Teenager

Do you know how to talk to your teens about problems they may be facing during these tough economic times? Perhaps, we could help.

Layoffs, shrinking funds and escalating expenses are an overall bad combination for everyone. But sadly, too many Americans have become all too familiar with this.

And it's not just a worry for adults. The children in their lives are feeling the strain too.

This Saturday, we will be joined by a young author, Steve Simpson, who will share some of what he calls his tragic childhood experiences.

More importantly, he is imparting to all of us some guidelines on how to help troubled children during this economic crisis.

He's prepared to talk about crises involving kids from drug abuse to self esteem to suicide to running away.

We would like to hear from you.

Please share your questions and/or concerns with us and then tune in Saturday at 2pm ET.

This is how you handle your kids. you explane to them that if they want money, they should go rake leaves or mow lawns and that Burger King is just down the street. go apply for a job.

Marijuana is really great for people who are getting chemotheraphy. It helps them get an appetite and also to sleep.
