I'm watching CNN right now, and it sounds like Fredricka Whitfield is struggling with her voice pretty badly. She's obviously sick with something.
I understand the desire to be a "trooper" and march into work no matter what, but isn't it setting a bad example to the viewers for her to be doing this? Especially when we're in the midst of a national emergency regarding the H1N1/influenza epidemic, she's just putting herself and her coworkers in undue jeopardy.
Go home and get some rest, Fredricka! Even if it isn't the flu, your voice is so hoarse I can barely hear what you're saying anyway. Set a good example, don't try to be a hero. Go home.

Has the Presiden'ts family been vaccinated with the H1N1? I have a 25 yr. old daughter who has Down Syndrome and several underlying medical conditions yet she does not qualify for the H1N1. She has a blood disorder, leukopenia, which is a low white blood count, hypoglycemia, narcolepsy, and sleep apnea. I tried to get her the shot on Fri. and was turned away because she is older than 18 yrs. I agree, give the pregnant women and young children the vaccine but if my daughter gets the virus, I fear greatly for her life. The same for a person over 18 yrs. of age with ceberal palsy. This population of people are at a very high risk yet are not allowed the vaccine. So, it makes me wonder if the President's children who appear to have no health issues, have been given the virus.
