Maine's Troop Greeters

Seniors dealing with health problems, loneliness and chronic pain still go to the airport most days, sometimes in the middle of the night, to greet U.S. troops and say "thank you" on behalf of the nation. Their story is now told in a new documentary film, "The Way We Get By."

I just had to voice my opinion on this matter. The father that ran his own daughter over for being too "western" just makes me so mad. He came to this country asking to be a part of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! And then kills his beautiful child for embracing our values. Well if he feels this way about "westerners" I have one thing to say. Capital punishment for living in our land and bringing values and beliefs from his country and applying them to murder! We here in the states cherish our kids good or bad. We don't murder them! I think he either should face capital punishment or be sent back to whatever screwed up country he came from. Send a strong message if you want to be an american or stay in our country you WILL follow our laws. If you want to be an american then you will have to leave the laws of your land back home and adopt "The American Way" And i would also make sure he is never allowed to step foot on our cherished country again!
