Fort Hood Hero

Nicole and Tony look at the online profile of the Ft. Hood Hero, Sgt. Kim Munley:

Since the report aired, we found out that she is a newly married mother of a 3-year-old daughter.  Her brother-in-law told us, "She is definitely a tough woman.  There's nothing that stands in her way.  It completely makes sense that she she what she did.  It was amazing.  Without her, there would have been a lot more people killed."

Your H1N1 Questions Saturday Morning

Should you get the H1N1 vaccine or should you give it to your child? It's a conversation we've been having here in the newsroom and it's probably one of many questions you have as well.

So we're dedicating the whole 9am half-hour to talk about health care and H1N1 on CNN Newsroom Saturday. We will have a pediatrician live on set to help you sort through it all.

Send us your questions and watch CNN Newsroom Saturday at 9am ET to see if we answer them on air.

The Massacre at Fort Hood

It’s a developing story. The death toll stands at 13 in the shooting spree at Fort Hood, Texas. 30 others are recovering from injuries. The alleged attacker, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. citizen of Jordanian descent, survived after being shot several times. The Army says Hasan had received orders to deploy to Afghanistan – and reportedly he didn’t want to go.

Share your thoughts or condolences for family and friends of the victims here on our blog. Heidi will share some of them in the Newsroom, 9am-11am ET.
