From CNN's Betty Nguyen:
It's a city within a city. A massive 67-acre, 18-million-square-foot web of hotels, spas, a casino and so much more.
It's called CityCenter. And it officially opened for business last week on the Vegas Strip, creating much-needed jobs - thousands of them.
I recently caught up with some workers who took a gamble on CityCenter - and won.
Some 170,000 people applied for the 12,000 permament jobs at CityCenter.
But with Vegas tourism down 6% this year, and the convention business dropping by almost 1/3, it might be a while before there's a full return on the billion-dollar investment.
Sounds like a real fun place but can the other casinos compete or are they doomed to turn into stop and go stores and close .
