The only thing I want for Christmas is my wife to be able to come home to me. We have been forced to be apart because of the insane immigration policies in the United States. If there is a Santa then let him step up to help us be reunited and live our lives as husband and wife! It is the saddest holiday season that I have ever experienced.

    Hi Fredricka,

For almost 11 years I've been hosting music for unsigned bands who have come to me from around the world. So many times I've seen reports on CNN and other news channels that talk about music web sites but I've never been contacted and we're one of the oldest web sites for Unsigned Bands. What I want for Christmas is to get a mention on any national news channel. This will help the musicians who I'm trying to help. I own 440MUSIC.COM Internet Radio.

    Merry Christmas,

I want an opposition party that does not exist only to oppose. The Republicans actually voted unanimously NOT to debate! As Obama correctly pointed out, "This is not a football game". Right now the 2 party system is a vast waste of energy. Just imagine if all the energy expended in opposing could be devoted to real unpartisan debate: to see what we can DO, not what we can undo. I just want to scream at the Republican Party, "GROW UP!!!!"

All I want for Christmas is for my husband to get a job! He was laid off in April '09 and it's been a BIG struggle ever since. I find it hard that a Mechanical Engineer with so many years of experience in Management and Manufacturing hasn't found employment yet. Dear Santa, if you're listening can you please bring a big smile to my family this holiday season by finding a job for my hubby!!!

I would like for bug business interest to know that they cannot always win. Republicans are making this economic problem a democratic one but it was their corporate greed and disdain for anyone not in their inner circle that has gotten us in this mess. Remember George Bush? I am fed up with their "holier than though" fascade.

I'd like for everyone who lost their jobs this year to be able to find new ones and the people that had to close their small business to be able to open them back up. This probably falls under the Christmas miracles category but since its Christmas...what the heck!

    Christmas List:

All of our family together – check.

    Warm house – check.

Lots of love for our rescued dogs – check.

To help others who are not as fortunate as we – check.

For more people around the world to treat each other, for just one day, with respect, tolerance, goodwill, and patience. Maybe, one will turn into two, will turn into three, until we finally achieve world peace – only time will tell.

What i most want for xmas is an chance to speak to anyone who really wants to help fix the economy and bring back jobs .I dont want anything for me i just would like to help ease this mess unfortunately in order to fix a problem we have to first understand what cause the problem ,unfortunately no one gets the cause of the problem so it will continue to get worst .I have been trying for over five years to find an avenue to get the mesage on how to prevent and contain the problem .So i wish again for a chance to help fix the economic mess .
My lack of opurtunity to get this done is one of the reason we have this mess. Only one set of peoples keep gettting all the leverage to do more while others cannot get a chance this is one of the biggest reason we are here now .We need a balance in order to turn this economy around if not it will continue to fall .

As we slow down tonight and reflect on the significance of these days of December, in our adult lives, I come home to Mama. My youngest indelible memories, being raised a Catholic, attending Catholic school, being an alter boy for years, are, of course, of midnight Mass with my wonderful Mother; how I miss her. I have grown beyond that spiritual realm, albeit, it is still part of my spiritual milieu. I have learned, no matter who our spiritual master, be it Abraham, Mohammed, Buddha, Krishna, Carl Sagan, or Jesus, there is a single thread of energy that passes through us all. It passes through the universe and beyond. It binds us together as brothers and sisters, like it or not; we are one! We either succeed together, or fail together. One man’s glory is fleeting in the universal scheme. It is in the spirit of a glass half full, not half empty, that I toast you and your family on Christmas Day and celebrate the communion of life with you. We are alive on this planet together in almost instantaneous temporal measure. Our lives are but a second of universal time. Nurture our thread of life brothers and sisters and take care of our Planet; it is truly a miracle! (for further reading: Matthew 1:18-25; Matthew 2:1-12; Luke 1:26-38; Luke 2:1-20).

My need for Christmas and the following days thereafter is to provide for my family. I'm looking froward to the new year, because there are many opportunities to be self-employed with a small start up company. Our future clients show interest with our services, but the lack of some of the important necessities for doing business are missing, such as; equipment, transportation, insurance, supplies and uniforms. Nevertheless, I know there are good Samaritans out there with a heart of compassion to help families in need by giving from their wealth to invest into the lives of others in some meaningful way. However, there is another need that is just as important as the first, such as, having a form of reliable, adequate transportation to meet the needs of my family on a day-to-day basis. We are a family of six struggling to meet the basic needs of everyday living, but by the grace of God we are getting by.

I feel safe flying. If we don't keep flying because we are scared of terrorism, then they have won. There are thousands of flights that fly safely every day. We should not focus on the rare occurrences like the guy in Detroit, but on the safe flights that fly all of the time. The police and homeland security will just have to keep shifting their focus to keep fighting the terrorists. As travelers, we have to be ready to face more screening and inconvenience, but that is just part of the deal. It is worth it.

Has it occurred to anyone that part of the security problem lies at the feet of the Schipol airport authorities.
If he had a friend working security there-and that is possible given the lax attitude of the Dutch government when it comes to Muslim extremist groups-then yes anyone flying out of that airport should be concerned about a repeat attempt.
What about next year and World Soccer in Africa?Aren't many of the games to be played in Nigeria?i would be very afraid to fly anywhere to that continent given the obvious attempts, many successful,by extremist groups to control governments there.
