Passenger tackles terror suspect on NWA flight

CNN is learning the amount of explosive found on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on Christmas Day was enough to blow a hole into the side of the aircraft and take it down.

That's according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.

Fredricka Whitfield spoke with a passenger who tackled the suspect and helped stop the attack.

After the brave Dutch passenger helped disarm the Muslim butt-bomber, what did Homeland Security do?

It publicly gave the man's full name and home address.

Muslims in the Dutch nations will likely seek to murder that man during the next 10 years.

Some response for Homeland Security huh?

That passenger is definitely a hero. His quick thinking helped save the day.I think we need more air marshals on airplanes. We need to do more in terms of safety. I think they should search everyone and do a full body scan, so they can make sure that there are no explosives. This terrorist hid the explosives in his draws. No metal detector is going to pick that up. After this it will probably make them do a full body scan. They already make people take off their shoes and belts, they should just do a full body scan. People's lives are at stake, I say search everybody. And just tell people that even though they may be inconvenienced it is worth it.
